The Auburn Tigers haven't found a way in three years to win close games under head coach Hugh Freeze. In fact, they seem to find new ways to lose them.

00:00I think it's very clear that we find ways to not win football games,
00:11and that's what has to change.
00:14And that locker room is a good enough football team to play with anyone
00:22and to win games, creating that mentality that believes you're going to
00:32and finding ways to do it and to do your assignment when it's called on
00:38in critical moments like you did the entire first half.
00:45It's things that we've got to get corrected if we want to experience the joy
00:49of winning these close, tough SEC football games.
00:56And that's really the way I see it.
00:59We felt great about the preparation, felt great about coming into this game,
01:07felt like we were going to win the game.
01:10And here I am feeling again that we don't quite know how to do that.
01:17And you've got to look at, again, all aspects of it from coaching
01:23to making critical plays at critical moments.
01:27And why do we not execute the same defensive calls that we executed
01:35in the first half and the second half in critical moments?
01:39It's just all of those things is just they compound into helping us find ways
01:46to not have success on the winning side of the scoreboard.
01:50And I'm not trying to take anything away from Georgia or previous opponents,
01:55but I really feel that way.
01:57I don't know if it's – I feel like it's more us finding ways not to win games.
