00:00Yeah, first, let's win the game and whatever that takes.
00:06And should we need another quarterback to go in, Deuce will go in.
00:11And we'll kind of go from there.
00:15I mean, Ashton is an incredible player, and we need him.
00:21And, but at the same time, let's just be honest too.
00:26And I've had this discussion with him, he has another year.
00:29If he doesn't use the year this year.
00:33And so all of that's in my mind of, you know, I'd love to have that guy for two years.
00:40So you've got to try to balance all of that.
00:42And, but at the same time, do what's best for your football team to win the game.
00:47So that's the, that's the juggling act you have with Ashton is because man,
00:52I would absolutely love if I knew I had two years with him.
00:56But to do that with the rules as they currently are, you'd have to,
01:02he'd have to play in no more than four games in this season.
01:06So all of that's in my mind, all the more reason that we should eliminate that
01:11craziness and go five for five, you know, with these kids.
01:14But, but that's, that's the whole thought process.
01:17And maybe I'm too out front with that.
01:19But I've had that conversation with him and he's so mature and understands it.
01:23And so you got to kind of juggle that.
01:26How much fun was it to see B Frazier and Jeremiah Wright and obviously the Tate and
01:32Damari, Robert Woodard, Zakivas Walker, these guys that stuck around and have success.
01:37How, how valuable is that for a team?
01:39It's, it's, well, it's rewarding, you know, because you're so happy for them because
01:45all of them stuck in and wanted, and love Auburn and want to see Auburn succeed.
01:50And so for game one, we succeeded and they were a huge part of that.
01:55And so you, you dang, celebrate that and hopefully that they have more of those games
01:59where we can celebrate the fact that they stood around, stayed around, got developed and
02:04are now reaping some of the benefits.
