00:00Yeah, you know, it's who we have to be on defense for us to have success.
00:08And you saw two offenses that were going to go fast.
00:12I thought they did a great job of playing as fast as imaginably possible.
00:16They did a great job of snapping it.
00:19I would tell you the fact that that's what they've had to go through during camp and prepare for gave
00:25us the opportunity to go play like that.
00:28But I think mentality-wise, what Dirk has brought to that defense where you just play the next play and
00:34play the next play.
00:35And you saw from a body language standpoint, there's a lot to clean up.
00:39But, like, man, I'm excited to watch the film and see, like, our guys just kept resetting and playing, kept
00:45resetting and playing.
00:46And that's what it takes to win.
00:49And then on the flip of it, I saw every time they came off the field or went on the
00:54field, it was like, man, we've got to get the ball back for our offense.
00:55We've got to get the ball back for our offense.
00:57And, man, as the head coach in week one, if that's the mentality, we'll take it.
01:02But the culture that we've built defensively and the ability to just go keep playing the next play, a lot
01:09of credit to, and not just Coach Dirk, and certainly Coach, but that defensive staff.
01:13And, honestly, even more to the defensive players for buying into it.
