Der neue Peugeot 208 GT zeigt sich mit frischem Design, moderner Technik und sportlichem Charakter. Das aktuelle Facelift bringt eine markantere Front mit Full-LED-Scheinwerfern, neuer Tagfahrlichtsignatur in „Löwenkrallen“-Optik und Voll-LED-Heckleuchten mit neuer Grafik.

Auch innen überzeugt der GT mit Sitzen aus Stoff und Kunstleder, grünen Ziernähten, digitalem 3D-Kombiinstrument mit 10-Zoll-Display, LED-Ambientebeleuchtung in 8 Farben sowie einer sportlichen Aluminium-Pedalerie.

Unter der Haube arbeitet ein 1,0-Liter-Dreizylinder-Turbomotor mit bis zu 130 PS und 230 Nm Drehmoment. Das CVT-Getriebe und der Sportmodus sorgen für agiles Fahrverhalten, das von der präzisen Lenkung und einem straffen Fahrwerk unterstützt wird.

Zur Sicherheitsausstattung zählen eine Rückfahrkamera mit 180°-Ansicht, schlüsselloser Zugang, Spurhalteassistent, Verkehrszeichenerkennung und Notbremsassistent. Der Preis der Topversion liegt in Deutschland bei rund 31.000 €.

00:07look at the revised Pollo 208 GT, the sportiest version of the popular French compact car.

00:15This model, which is manufactured in Argentina, has not only made a significant step forward in

00:21terms of appearance, but also has a lot to offer in terms of technology and equipment.

00:26It is clear at first glance that the 208 GT wants to stand out from the crowd.

00:34The front section is equipped with full LED headlights, which not only provide excellent

00:39illumination of the road, but also increase comfort thanks to automatic headlight range

00:44control and high beam assistant. The redesigned daytime running light signature is no longer

00:50reminiscent of the previous sabre teeth, but now features stylized lion claws, which fits in

00:56perfectly with Peugeot's brand identity. The visual enhancement continues at the rear.

01:04Full LED taillights with new lighting graphics, a glossy black trim between the taillights and

01:10a discreetly placed GT logo on the boot lid give the car a decidedly sporty touch.

01:15The appearance is complemented by two-tone lightweight rims in the Janaka design,

01:27behavior. Glossy black wheel arches and a decorative strip below the side windows round

01:48fabric and cappy imitation leather, refined with striking green decorative stitching,

01:53which is stylishly reflected on the floor mats at the front and rear. The digital 3D instrument

01:58cluster with a high-resolution 10-inch screen provides all relevant driving data in crisp,

02:04sharp and three-dimensional detail. The LED ambient lighting in eight freely selectable colors

02:10creates a personal feel-good atmosphere. The leather multifunction steering wheel proudly bears the GT

02:17logo and is pleasantly non-slip in the hand, while the aluminum pedals and the stainless steel door

02:23sills with PGO lettering underline the sporty ambience. Under the hood is a 1-liter turbocharged engine

02:32that delivers up to 130 horsepower when running on ethanol and 125 horsepower when running on gasoline.

02:39The maximum torque of 230 Nm is available even at low engine speeds, which, in combination with a

02:49continuously variable CVT transmission, provides a smooth yet lively driving experience. The sports mode is

02:57particularly appealing, sharpening the throttle response, increasing the engine speed and making

03:02the car noticeably more agile. The interplay between the engine, transmission, precise steering and

03:08well-tuned chassis ensures that the 208 GT is almost reminiscent of a go-kart when driven dynamically.

03:15Agile, direct and with a good portion of driving fun. Despite the sporty ambitions, comfort is not

03:23neglected. According to initial user reviews, the car remains very stable and pleasant to drive, even on

03:31longer journeys at speeds above 180 km per hour. The safety features are extensive. A reversing camera

03:40with 180 degrees surround view, a keyless entry and start system, lane departure warning, traffic sign

03:47recognition, emergency brake assist and other modern aids are standard on board.

03:53This combination of performance, safety and comfort makes the PG208 GTA convincing overall package in

04:01the highly competitive small car segment, where it has to compete with models such as the Volkswagen Polo or

04:07the Hyundai i20. In terms of price, the top of the range version is just under €31,000 in Germany and

04:15therefore offers an attractive price-performance ratio, especially when you consider the extensive standard

04:21equipment and the vehicle's unique character. For buyers who are looking for a compact, agile car with a

04:28sporty look, modern technology and a touch of exclusivity, the Polo 208 GT is a very interesting option.
