00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog, where today we will introduce you to the exciting topic of the Renault Vision 4 Rescue.
00:08A modern emergency vehicle based on the legendary Renault 4, which was specially developed for disasters and rescue operations.
00:17The original Renault was already a real all-rounder in its day, whether as an ambulance, police vehicle or everyday hero.
00:25Now the classic is getting a new interpretation for the 21st century.
00:30Namely as the Vision 4 Rescue, a high-tech toolbox on wheels, specially designed to meet the requirements of modern rescue services.
00:40The concept vehicle was developed in close cooperation with firefighters in order to meet the actual needs of the emergency services.
00:48The large box on the roof is particularly striking.
00:52However, it was not used to store hoses.
00:55Instead, it houses a surveillance drone, antennas and other technology to restore communication networks after disasters.
01:03In total, the vehicle offers almost 20 interconnected solutions that were developed as part of an ecosystem called Software Republic,
01:14an association of seven French companies, including the Renault Group.
01:17The aim is to standardize the technologies used by emergency services so that they can work together more quickly and efficiently.
01:26The boot contains a large module, the upper section of which is equipped with a pull-out desk and two screens with a computer.
01:37This transforms the vehicle into a mobile command center.
01:41The lower section contains two storage compartments with important equipment for firefighters, helmets, operational clothing, bags, tablets and always-charge radios.
01:50There are reflective strips on the inside of the rear doors so that they can be seen even in poor visibility.
02:05A metal bar on the dashboard serves as a handle or as a holder for radios and bears the lettering jet,
02:10which in English means, I receive you loud and clear.
02:13The seats are partly made of foam recycled from old firefighter clothing.
02:23Of course, Renault has also given the Vision 4 Rescue the right visual accents.
02:29Fluorescent yellow graphics stand out clearly against the strong construction red of the salmon.
02:35A blue LED light strip below the roof box ensures additional visibility.
02:39The numbers 112 and 18 on the rear refer to the emergency numbers in France.
02:47Another loving detail, the classic bumpers of the old Renault 4 have been replaced with new, shock-absorbing 3D-printed components that have a pin pocket pattern.
02:58A playful homage to the typical siren sound of French emergency vehicles.
03:02As with the Renault 4 Sevein 4x4 concept vehicle, the Vision 4 Rescue has also been raised by 15mm to provide more ground clearance.
03:14The necessary propulsion is provided by an all-wheel drive with two electric motors.
