00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the revised Leer Yos 50.
00:07An exciting microcar that is available as both an economical diesel and a fully electric version
00:12and is bringing a breath of fresh air to the world of lightweight vehicles.
00:17The Ligier J50, which many people may have previously known from motorsports,
00:22is emerging in 2025 as a practical city car with innovative technology and surprising spaciousness.
00:30Particularly striking is the return of the 3-liter car,
00:34made possible by the newly developed 4-stroke diesel engine called Ravo D+,
00:38which has a displacement of 500cc.
00:42This engine complies with the Euro 5-plus standard that will apply from January 2025
00:47and was designed for minimal consumption, low vibrations and reduced emissions.
00:52The maximum torque is 27 Nm and is achieved between 2,000 and 2,700 revolutions per minute.
01:02According to the manufacturer, the diesel engine consumes an average of just 3L per 100 kilometers
01:08in the BMTC cycle and, thanks to a comparatively large 17L tank, enables a total range of over 500 kilometers.
01:15Visually, the Ligier Joe S50 remains true to its compact concept.
01:22It measures just under 3 meters in length, is around 1.5 meters high and around 1.5 meters wide.
01:29Despite these small dimensions, the boot has a capacity of around 470L.
01:35A real top value in this vehicle class.
01:38The interior has also been redesigned.
01:40A new, sophisticated cockpit with a 10-inch touchscreen offers modern functions such as
01:47Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a reversing camera, wireless charging and USB-C ports.
01:54A Pioneer high-fidelity sound system with six speakers provides the right sound,
01:59complemented by LED ambient lighting that adds an atmospheric touch to the interior.
02:03The Joe 50 is approved as a four-wheeled light motor vehicle in the Loo category and,
02:10depending on the country in question, may be driven with an AM driver's license from the age of 14.
02:16The top speed is limited to 45 kilometers per hour.
02:21The entry-level price for the diesel version in Germany is just over 15,000 euros.
02:25Those who prefer to travel electrically can opt for the fully electric version,
02:32which offers a WLTP range of up to 12 kilometers.
02:38Prices for this start at around 16,500 euros and go up to just under 23,000 euros for the top version with L approval.
