Der Cadillac Escalade IQL setzt neue Maßstäbe im Segment der Elektro-SUVs. Mit 5,80 m Länge, einer riesigen 205-kWh-Batterie und einer beeindruckenden Reichweite von 745 km bietet er nicht nur Platz, sondern auch Power. Das XXL-SUV kommt mit zwei Elektromotoren und einer Gesamtleistung von 559 kW, womit es in 4,7 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 Stundenkilometer beschleunigt. Trotz seiner Größe bringt der Escalade IQL sportliche Fahrleistungen und eine Anhängelast von 3,4 Tonnen mit.
Neben dem starken Antrieb überzeugt das Modell mit enormem Stauraum: 686 Liter hinter der dritten Sitzreihe, 2.150 Liter bei umgelegten Rücksitzen und satte 3.500 Liter mit vollständig flacher Ladefläche. Auch unter der Fronthaube gibt es mit 345 Litern zusätzlichen Platz. Dank der 800-Volt-Technik lädt das SUV innerhalb von 10 Minuten Strom für rund 200 km nach.
Cadillac bringt mit dem Escalade IQL eine elektrische Langversion des beliebten Luxus-SUVs auf den Markt. Aktuell startet der Preis in den USA bei etwa 122.000 Euro. Ob und wann er nach Europa kommt, bleibt offen.
