00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the Haval, a midsize SUV from the Chinese manufacturer Haval,
00:09which aims to stand out from the competition with its distinctive design,
00:12solid technology and extensive equipment.
00:16The Haval is produced in Russia.
00:19Depending on the equipment, the model costs between around €25,000 and around €40,000.
00:24The Haval was designed by renowned designer Phil Simms,
00:30who previously worked for brands such as MINI, Ford and Jaguar Land Rover.
00:35The angular, eye-catching exterior combines elements of classic American off-road vehicles with modern SUV lines.
00:43The massive front bumper, the striking lighting graphics and the pronounced rear section give the vehicle a robust appearance.
00:49Despite borrowings from other brands, the design remains unique.
00:57Inside, the Haval offers high-quality materials such as napper leather, clean workmanship and generous space.
01:04The driver and front passenger seats are equipped with ventilation in the Tech Plus equipment line.
01:10The driver's seat also has a massage function.
01:13An individually adjustable lumbar support increases seating comfort.
01:17The space in the rear is also generous.
01:23The technical equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a head-up display,
01:27a dual-zone automatic climate control system,
01:30a panoramic sunroof combination and an audio system with 10 speakers and an integrated subwoofer.
01:37The subwoofer is located in the full-size spare wheel in the boot floor.
01:41Two USB ports in the front and two in the rear ensure connectivity for all occupants.
01:49Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, but can only be used with a cable.
01:54The boot offers a load capacity of over 300 L.
01:57When the rear seats are folded down, a flat loading area with a volume of over 1000 L is created.
02:02The tailgate can be opened without touching it and closed at the push of a button.
02:09Well-designed storage compartments and cup holders including elastic bottle holders in the door panels increase the everyday suitability.
02:15The Haval Dargo is equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 192 horsepower and around 266 Nm of torque.
02:28Power transmission is provided by a Siemens dual-clutch transmission with a wet clutch.
02:33The sprint to 100 km per hour takes about 9 seconds.
02:37Various driving modes, including standard, eco, sport, snow, mud, sand, grass, gravel and uneven roads allow the vehicle to adapt to different driving conditions.
02:49The all-wheel drive ensures traction even on difficult surfaces.
02:53However, there is no differential lock, which limits its use in difficult terrain.
02:59The chassis consists of a McPherson strut axle at the front and a double wishbone design at the rear.
03:04The setup is balanced, and bumps are absorbed well.
03:09At the same time, the body remains stable in curves.
03:12The overall noise insulation is of high quality.
03:15The engine is barely audible in the interior.
03:19Assistance systems such as lane departure warning with variable positioning, traffic sign recognition, automatic parking assistance, emergency brake assistant and a 360 degrees camera with a moving display of the vehicle's surroundings support the driver in everyday situations.
03:34The emergency brake function when reversing reacts very sensitively, but can be deactivated if desired.
03:42Fuel consumption in city traffic is around 17 to 19 L per 100 km, on country roads between 14 and 15 L, the tank holds almost 60 L.
03:51Petrol with at least 902 octane is recommended.
03:58Other features include a functional dual-zone air conditioning system, a 220-volt socket and a 120-watt power outlet in the trunk.
04:06The Haval Dargo is a well-conceived and versatile SUV with extensive standard equipment and a striking appearance.
