00:06Today, we're all about the Special Edition McLaren 750's Le Mans,
00:10which was unveiled to mark the 30th anniversary of McLaren's historic Lehm victory.
00:17In 1995, McLaren won the legendary 24 Hours of Lehm on its debut with drivers Jay Lato,
00:24Janik Dalmaz and Masanori Sakia at the wheel of an F1 GTR.
00:30This sensational victory over favored prototypes not only established the legend of the McLaren F1,
00:37but also made McLaren the only manufacturer to win the so-called Triple Crown of motorsport,
00:42El Monaco and Indy.
00:46To commemorate this triumph, McLaren is now presenting the 705 SLA Special Edition with 50 examples built,
00:53which contains numerous references to the F1 GTR.
00:56The 750's Lehm is available in two color variants.
01:04L-Grey is reminiscent of the livery of the winning car, which was sponsored by the Unio Clinic,
01:09while McLaren Orange is the company's traditional racing color.
01:15In terms of technology, the car is equipped with a new high-deforce kit,
01:19including a significantly larger front splitter and a carbon fiber rear wing.
01:22A roof air intake is also standard.
01:26The striking five-spoke alloy wheels in LM design are reminiscent of the Oz Racing rims of the original F1 GTR.

01:36The center caps are red on one side and blue on the other.
01:40Just like on the historic racing car.
01:42For ambitious drivers, there is an optional track brake package with gold anodized brake calipers,
01:48a homage to the gold-colored Brembus of the original.
01:53The interior can be designed in either black or gray with two different bucket seat options.
01:59The five-point seat belts are in blue, which is also reminiscent of the Le model,
02:04although in Europe you will probably have to make do with three-point seat belts.
02:07Other options include various glossy carbon components for the exterior.
02:14With the 750S LM, McLaren is already launching the third Lehman Special Edition.
02:21Previously, similar models based on the 605S and the 720S were offered.
02:28Although one could accuse McLaren of exploiting its history a little.
02:32If it is so impressive, why not?
02:34The F1 GTR is considered an icon among super sports cars and its victory in LEM is a unique moment.
02:41No other manufacturer has won the race on its debut since then.
02:47While McLaren is currently competing in LEM with GT3 vehicles,
02:51a comeback in the top class is planned for 2027 with an LMDA prototype for the World Endurance Championship.
02:57Perhaps this project will provide the impetus for another special edition.
