00:01Hello on the TuningBlock Channel.
00:04Today I have another little product presentation for you, from the manufacturer E-Raptor.
00:09I hope I pronounced it correctly. It reads like this at the top.
00:15Um, it's a reversing camera, but it's not really designed for normal cars.
00:21I only have a normal car, but I think I can still show it to you.
00:25Um, it's more designed for commercial vehicles, also for camper vans and yes, those big ones,
00:32I don't know, like TGEs or whatever they're called and Mercedes Sprinters and so on.
00:37Um, the biggest advantage of all this. I hope you can understand me here,
00:42not the best backdrop. A bit noisy on the road.
00:46Um, the biggest advantage is that it has a big built-in magnet.
00:50Um, you put it on here. Oh yeah, aluminum.
00:53On the roof of the car. Um, and that's basically it.
00:58You can also see the antenna and so on.
01:00Well, this isn't something that's intended for a BKW.
01:02I don't think anyone would screw something like this onto their roof, or put it on the roof.
01:06Of course, it's still possible, but it's more intended for commercial vehicles.
01:10So, it's really important that you don't have to drill anything or anything like that.
01:14You just put it on.
01:14And of course, the same applies to the screen up front.
01:17It's a nice, large screen. It's easy to see. It has a 12-volt connection, but if necessary,
01:24you can also use a fixed connection. It always depends on how you want to install it.
01:30Yes, with a plus-minus cable, which connects to the camera and nothing more.
01:34Then there's also a USB-C charging cable included.
01:36Is that USB-C?
01:38I think so.
01:39Yes, exactly.
01:43Um, to charge this thing, um, it lasts on average.
01:46It has built-in solar panels up here and with the solar panels, as you can see here, um,
01:51it should last up to a maximum of 35 days, but can of course also be extended or shortened a bit
01:56depending on the weather.
02:00Um, there's a charging port here at the back.
02:03If it ever runs out of power, it will of course show that on the screen and you activate it here,
02:08then it connects and that's all there is to it, but I'll show you in a moment.
02:13Um, as far as I know, it can also transmit continuously for 24 hours.
02:19So, the built-in battery has 9600 milliampere hours.
02:24Um, yeah, what else is there to say?
02:26The camera is important, it has a 1080p resolution.
02:29Um, that means you should be able to see pretty much everything,
02:32like with a normal reversing camera, including license plates and so on and so forth.
02:37Of course, when it gets darker, it probably won't be possible to see everything in detail.
02:42But during daytime operation and especially for reversing,
02:46which is what it's intended for, it will probably work well.
02:49I'll show you in a moment.
02:52It has a built-in CCD sensor and yes, in open areas,
02:56the signal can be received up to 100 meters,
02:58so between the two antennas, so 100 meters.
03:02If it's in a car or a vehicle with a partition and all the trimmings,
03:07it can go up to over 12 meters.
03:09That actually means it's suitable for any camper van, any large van, and so on and so forth.
03:15It shouldn't be a problem for trucks either, it should work well.
03:19Another important thing is that it's IP69K waterproof and dustproof.
03:23That's not entirely unimportant, is it?
03:26So you can also use it in the rain, quite normally,
03:28and the temperature range they specify is, I think, up to around minus 15 degrees and plus 60 degrees.
03:34Uh, the lens is still worth mentioning,
03:39it has a 150 degrees wide angle and yes,
03:42that's basically it for the camera and now I'll show you how to attach the fun.
03:51I hope that can be illustrated here a little bit.
03:53I'll close the tailgate when it closes.
03:58It goes like this now, just put it on here.
04:03Bam, it fits.
04:06Can you see it now?
04:07Yes, I think so, it fits perfectly, really cool.
04:11It can still be adjusted here, right?
04:13It can also be set, depending on the situation,
04:16you just have to see how the camera images align.
04:18The antenna can also be aligned.
04:20It goes forwards and backwards here, right?
04:23It should actually cover every area.
04:27Yes, as I said,
04:29I don't think this is necessarily the most suitable for a Pegas,
04:32but I can only show you this.
04:34Exactly, now we've installed it and now the monitor goes into the vehicle.
04:41So, the fun here is the usual.
04:44It's adjustable to a very nice degree, right?
04:46It always comes up a bit on the windshield area,
04:49especially here with the antenna.
04:51I don't even know if it really has to be attached.
04:54You can definitely turn it around.
04:56I think it's not really necessary for such a small car.
05:00Of course, I'll leave it on and yes,
05:03you always have to see it in the commercial vehicle.
05:09I don't think you'd install something like this in a normal car for reversing,
05:13but I think it makes sense in a company vehicle.
05:16So, we'll plug the part in here.
05:25As I said, it can also be permanently installed.
05:30There's an on and off button here and then we'll see.
05:32First function test, it'll probably search for a moment.
05:44Exactly.
05:45It's really quick.
05:47And basically all the basic functions are already set here.
05:52You don't really have to do much.
05:55Um, I don't know, it's probably not that easy to get across,
05:58but I can read the manufacturer on the bike.
06:01It's a crisp, sharp image, everything's cool.
06:03Uh, yeah, you have the battery indicator up here, then you have the connected cameras here.
06:10I mean, the screen could even do more, I've had one or two of these devices before,
06:15they can also receive more than one signal.
06:17I'm not entirely sure about that, but I think the display up here won't be completely in vain.
06:21And yes, otherwise it can be deactivated up here, right?
06:26If you don't need it now, that should be obvious.
06:30Then you have the brightness setting here.
06:32There was even a bit of room, so you could make it even brighter.
06:35You can change the channel here.
06:40But there's no second one, because there's no second camera.
06:46Yes, otherwise there are a few small settings that the screens offer, let's say.
06:50So it's not rocket science here.
06:53Um, the important thing is that you can actually install and set up the camera in a minute.
06:57It shows you the image, and that's it.
07:02So yeah, you should have been looking for something like this.
07:05Especially without the hassle of laying cables, and in the area of commercial vehicles or campers.
07:12Well, I find it very interesting for campers, of course.
07:15On the back of the camper van, you put the thing on,
07:18and when you've registered the vehicle at your holiday destination,
07:21let's say you're parked in a spot like that for a week or something.
07:24Um, then it's charged in between, um, via the sun.
07:28So, you don't have to dismantle it again, you can just leave it like that.
07:32I think that's really, really cool.
07:33But if you now say,
07:35okay, the camper is now deregistered,
07:38we won't drive it in the winter,
07:39then I can maybe also use it on my, I don't know, car or on my company van.
07:44Or it also depends,
07:46everyone has different areas of use,
07:48but it's flexible.
07:48You can remove it in a second and put it in the next vehicle,
07:51and I think the quality is absolutely top-notch.
07:54It's a razor-sharp image.
07:56What more could you want?
07:58I can't show you the night mode now.
08:01Um, the night mode is supposed to be decent, to put it that way.
08:05Yeah, I think you'll have to figure out the rest for yourself.
08:09Um, if it helped you, please leave a subscription.
08:13That would be really, really cool.
08:15And then I'll say until the next video.
08:17Thanks and bye.
08:18Oh, and as always,
08:21the link to bye is in the article description, of course.
08:24And as always,
08:25there's a comprehensive blog article that lists all the technical data.
08:29There are also a few pictures in there,
08:30and the product itself is described again.
08:32Take a look there,
08:33you can also find it in the article description,
08:35and there's nothing more to say.
08:36Thanks.
08:37Ciao.
