00:08The model was developed as part of a joint venture with Schengen and is the result of collaboration between Master's teams in Japan, China and Europe.
00:18It combines striking design with two electrified drive options.
00:22The EZ-6 measures 4.9 meters in length, 1.9 meters in width and 1.5 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.9 meters.
00:33Visually, the EZ-6 adopts the familiar Mazda radiator grille design and a split headlight structure, in which the main headlights are positioned below the daytime running lights.
00:44The lighting system, known as Wings of Light, includes an optional illuminated Mazda logo.
00:49The Sports Edition differs from other variants in that it features black trim elements on the body and red painted brake caliper covers.

01:16Technical data for the Sports Edition have not yet been published.
01:22However, conclusions can be drawn from the known variants of the EZ-6.
01:28The version with extended range mode is combined with a 1.5L petrol engine, which works together with a 160-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle.
01:37According to the CTC cycle, this variant achieves a combined range of around 1,300 kilometers with a fully charged battery and a full tank.
01:48The average fuel consumption is around 3.6L per 100 kilometers.
01:56The fully electric version has an electric motor with 190 horsepower, which corresponds to around 258 horsepower and offers a range of either 480 or 600 kilometers, depending on the battery size.
02:08Under suitable conditions, the battery can be charged from 30 to 80% within around 15 minutes using fast charging.
02:23Standard interior features include a 40.6-inch infotainment screen, a 50-inch augmented reality head-up display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, and a 14-speaker Sony audio system.
02:34The interior features 64-color ambient lighting and front seats with extended reclining function.
02:47Safety features include nine airbags, including a far-side airbag, and compliance with European crash safety standards.
02:56The Mazda EZ-6 is based on the Shanghai EPA architecture, which supports various electrified powertrain concepts.
03:04Outside of China, the model will be marketed as the Master 6E.
03:10Pricing for the sports edition has not yet been announced, but more information is expected to follow soon.
03:17Shang Mazda also recently entered into a partnership with CATL to develop future models based on the CIC platform.
03:24This platform takes a modular approach, considering the upper and lower parts of the vehicle separately to increase efficiency and flexibility in the development of future electric vehicles.
