00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog, where today we introduce you to the new Retro Schwalb for the 125cc Class A1 and B196.
00:12The second generation of the i-Schwalb from Gobex is ready to go and brings numerous technical improvements without losing the characteristic retro look of the original.
00:20It is designed for a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour and thus offers significantly more riding fun than the previous model from 2018, which had a maximum output of 8 kilowatts.
00:38The new i-Schwalb is powered by a 48-volt mid-engine that transmits its power to the rear wheel via a tooth belt and delivers a peak output of 8.5 kilowatts.
00:50Two removable lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 4.6 kWh ensure a range of up to 129 kilometers.
01:02The batteries can be charged both installed and removed and reach 80% of their capacity in around 2 hours.
01:10In comparison, the older model had built-in batteries with a capacity of 4.8 kWh and enable the maximum range of around 90 kilometers.
01:20In addition to the new drive system, the i-Schwalb offers three riding modes called Echo, Cruise, and Boost, allowing for individual adjustment of riding behavior.
01:32Another innovation is Active Recuperation, which is controlled via the throttle.
01:36This technology not only increases the range but also reduces wear on the mechanical brakes.
01:43A feature that was not available on the predecessor.
01:48A 5-inch TFT color display provides the rider with all important information in a clear format.
01:55All lighting is now based on LED technology.
01:58This, too, represents an improvement.
02:02The 2018 model was only equipped with a 4.4-inch LCD display.
02:09Including the two batteries, the vehicle weighs 136 kilograms, which is almost the same as the first generation.
02:18The storage space under the seat remains practical with a 5-liter volume and can be optionally expanded with a top case.
02:24Govix is currently offering the new Iswalbi in Jungle Green and Chalk Gray.
02:33For a limited time, the model is available at the so-called early bird price of approximately 9,000 euros.
