00:08A historic homage to racing legend Jim Clark.
00:13With this special model, limited to a total of 60 units,
00:18Lotus is honoring one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history
00:21and combining technical excellence with a deep-rooted historical connection.
00:25Jim Clark dominated Formula 1 in the 1960s like no other.
00:32The year 1965 in particular marked the high point of his career.
00:38A year in which he won both the World Championship and the prestigious 500.
00:43The Amira Clark Edition commemorates precisely this success,
00:47with many design details referencing Clark's racing cars.
00:50The body is painted in the deep green color Clark Racing Green,
00:57combined with a black roof, silver-colored exterior mirrors,
01:01and a yellow front stripe that is clearly reminiscent of the Lotus Type 38.
01:06The exterior appearance is complemented by a milled aluminum fuel cap with a blue center,
01:11yellow exhaust pipes, a hand-painted yellow decorative stripe along the sideline,
01:16and the Clark Edition logo on the doors.
01:21All elements that combine past and present in a unique appearance.
01:26The historical reminiscence continues inside.
01:31The asymmetrical design of the seat's red leather with Alcantara for the driver's seat,
01:36black leather with Alcantara for the passenger seat,
01:39references the interior of the racing cars of the time.
01:41This concept is complemented by other details such as a 1960s-style wooden gear knob,
01:49a commemorative emblem featuring Clark's Locker and Tartan,
01:52Clark's signature on the dashboard,
01:55Lotus Team details on the seats,
01:57numbered carbon fiber running boards,
01:59and a hand-crafted leather bag with edition-specific accents.
02:03Technically, the edition is based on the Lotus Amira V6.
02:07Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 supercharged engine with around 400 horsepower,
02:14combined with a manual six-speed transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential.
02:19This configuration promises a direct, precise, and sporty driving experience,
02:24in keeping with the racing tradition that Clark himself shaped.
02:28The Lotus Amira Clark Edition will be available exclusively in selected markets.
02:33Its official premiere will take place at the 2025 Formula One Grand Prix in Miami.
02:42With this limited edition,
02:44Lotus demonstrates not only technical prowess but also a deep understanding of its own history and that of its heroes.
