00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog. Today we're talking about the new 2026 Infiniti QX60.
00:08A luxurious SUV with three rows of seats that impresses with numerous technical innovations, high-quality materials and an elegant design.
00:17The new QX60 presents itself with a revised look that is based on the styling themes of the 2025 QX80.
00:24Particularly striking is the redesigned front end with an illuminated three-dimensional brand emblem and a radiator grille whose design is reminiscent of the tranquil structure of a bamboo forest.
00:38The daytime running lights are now segmented and take up the design of digital piano keys.
00:44Overall, the QX60 appears wider and flatter than its predecessor.
00:49The revised bumpers and the painted elements on the rear section contribute to this appearance.
00:54The sideline also appears more elongated thanks to new decorative elements on the doors.
01:01Vehicles with all-wheel drive now bear a new AD emblem.
01:05Inspired by traditional Japanese Hanko stamps.
01:09The new Infiniti light pod system in the autograph trim provides particularly striking lighting effects,
01:15creating an animated light signature when the vehicle is unlocked, including the brand name being projected onto the ground.
01:20The QX60 also offers a variety of colors.
01:26A new paint finish is Deep Emerald, inspired by Nature and Morning Dew, one of ten available colors.
01:33Some variants, particularly the autograph trim, come with a two-tone look and black roof.
01:38The wheels have been revised.
01:42The Pure variant now comes standard with 20-inch rims, while the autograph and locks get new, artistically designed rims with additional surface treatment.
01:51Inside, the QX60 focuses on high-quality materials and a sophisticated design.
01:59A new stone-gray upholstery option is available, which complements the existing graphite and subtle brown colors.
02:05Depending on the equipment, different upholstery elements such as silver metal mesh or open-pore ash wood with metal inlay are used.
02:15In the autograph variant in particular, the interior is inspired by Japanese craftsmanship with wave-shaped embroidery and laser-engraved wood decor.
02:24The Pure and Lux trims feature new tailor-fits, which are made from 65% recycled material and are softer and more durable than conventional synthetic leather.
02:38The connectivity in the new QX60 is state-of-the-art.
02:42Two 12.3-inch displays are standard.
02:46One is a digital instrument cluster, the other for the infotainment system, which now integrates Google.
02:52This means that Google Maps, Google Play and Google Assistant are available directly in the vehicle.
02:59Voice commands such as,
03:00Hey Google, navigate to my office or turn on my seat heating make operation easier.
03:08Another highlight is the new premium audio system from Clips,
03:11which in the Lux version is equipped with 16 speakers, including four titanium dome tweeters, a 600-watt amplifier and an 8-inch subwoofer.
03:22The Autograph version even uses a reference system with 20 speakers and a 24-channel amplifier.
03:31A particularly interesting innovation is the individual audio feature, which allows the driver to make a phone call, for example, while the passengers continue listening to music.
03:40In terms of assistance systems, the QX60 scores with the new Pro-Illit Assist 2.1, which enables hands-free control on selected motorway sections.
03:52However, the driver always remains alert and ready to intervene.
03:56The system is optionally available for the Autograph variant.
03:59The QX60 also offers a 3D surround-view camera system with moving object recognition from the luxe trim level upwards.
04:09An additional function is the invisible hood view, which projects a virtual image of the area directly under the bonnet onto the display.
04:16Useful in narrow passages or when washing the car, under the bonnet is an advanced 2.0 LVC turbo engine with variable compression.
04:29It produces 268 horsepower and delivers a torque of around 398 Nm.
04:34This engine is tuned for smooth, controlled power delivery in the low- to mid-range, which makes it particularly suitable for everyday use.
04:46The power is transmitted via a new automatic transmission with shift paddles.
04:51Various driving modes allow for individual adjustment of the drivetrain.
04:56The QX60 has an impressive towing capacity of up to approximately 2,700 kg when equipped accordingly.
05:04The Autograph variant includes a trailer hitch with a 7-pin connection and a system for stabilizing the trailer.
05:14Fuel consumption for models with front-wheel drive is approximately 10.7 L per 100 km in the urban cycle,
05:218.4 L in the extra-urban cycle and 9.8 L in the combined cycle.
05:27Models with intelligent all-wheel drive consume approximately 10.7 L in the urban cycle,
05:328.7 L in the extra-urban cycle and approximately 9.8 L in the combined cycle.
05:38The cargo space with the second and third rows of seats folded down is around 2.1 cubic meters.
05:46The QX60 offers a second row of seats with a continuous bench seat for up to 7 people as standard.
05:53Autograph and Sport models have individual seats in the second row and can accommodate up to 6 occupants.
05:58The new Infiniti QX60 will go on sale in summer 2025.
06:05Exact pricing is still pending, but will be announced in good time before the launch date.
