00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today it's all about the new launcher Y-Electric, which will boast an impressive range of up to 425 km.
00:13Like the Casa Electric and the Peugeot E-208, the Y-Electric is based on the ICMP platform from parent company Stellantis and also uses a modern NMC battery with improved cell chemistry.
00:25While capacity remains the same at 54 kWh gross and 51 kWh net, optimized efficiency across the entire system, including a revised powertrain, has reduced WLTP consumption to just 14.3 kWh per 100 km.
00:47This represents a noticeable increase in range of around 6%, or 22 km, compared to the predecessor model.
00:55Even though the charging power remains unchanged, it remains competitively priced at up to 100 kWh at suitable DC fast charging stations.
01:05Charging from 10% to 80% is thus possible in under 30 minutes.
01:12With a length of just over 4 meters, the new Y is clearly positioned in the small car segment, but relies on sophisticated equipment with a premium feel to appeal to new customer groups.
01:25The electric motor delivers 156 horsepower and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, which should ensure confident performance.
01:34The launch in Germany is planned for the second half of the year.
01:40Lania has not yet provided official information on pricing.
