00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog about the new Honda Prelude and its interior, unveiled for the first time.
00:08At the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, Honda caused a real surprise with the announcement that it was bringing back the Prolo.
00:17After about a year and a half of waiting, we finally get a detailed look at the near-production interior of the sporty hybrid coupe.
00:24Anyone who has already driven a Civic or an Integra will immediately feel at home, as the cockpit resembles a successful blend of both models.
00:35It is particularly noticeable that the dashboard is very reminiscent of the Civic, albeit without the continuous air vents.
00:43The controls have also been slightly modified.
00:47Instead of a classic automatic gearshift lever, as seen in the Civic and Integra, the new Prolo uses only buttons.
00:54Unfortunately, a manual transmission is not available.
01:00The new Prolo is no longer a pure-concept vehicle, but has developed into a near-production prototype.
01:07In the rear, there are only two rear seats, with severely limited headroom due to the coupe's typical sloping roofline.
01:15A practical feature, however, is that the rear seats fold almost flat.
01:19In combination with the large tailgate, this creates an astonishingly versatile cargo space.
01:26A particularly well-thought-out feature is the foldable luggage compartment cover, which can be stowed under the loading floor.
01:33There are also small hooks on the B-pillars for hanging clothes.
01:36There is a small storage area between the rear seats.
01:41However, there is no middle seat.
01:44An Integra would be a better choice here.
01:48The two-tone upholstery and the embroidered Prolo lettering on the front headrests and on the passenger side of the dashboard add a touch of freshness and individuality to the familiar Honda ambience.
01:58Honda plans to launch the hybrid coupe in the United States at the end of 2025.
02:07In Europe, however, we will have to wait until the beginning of the following year.
02:15As always, you can find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
02:19Was the information on the new Honda Prolo interesting?
