00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog, where we take a look at a very special vehicle, the Alpine Ender 10 Air Ultum.
00:16This car marks the grand finale of an impressive series of mid-engine sports cars and is causing a lot of conversation with its combination of exclusivity, performance and an incredible price.
00:26With a price tag of 330,000 euros for a 1.8 L four-cylinder, the A110 Air Ultum is not only the most expensive four-cylinder in the world that we know of, but it also raises the question of whether this amount is really justified.
00:41Under the hood, the little Frenchman delivers an impressive 345 horsepower and 420 newton meters of torque, which, via launch control, enable the sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds.
00:57These figures are impressive, but they are not the only things that set this vehicle apart.
01:05Alpine has spared no expense or effort to equip the last model in the Aher 10 series with everything that motorsport fans could possibly want.
01:14Highlights include an Acropovic titanium exhaust, adjustable oil dampers and a 330 mm AP racing brake system that leaves nothing to be desired, even on the racetrack.
01:27The driving experience offered by the A110 Air Ultum is as unique as its looks, especially in the exclusive Label version, which stands out with its two-tone paintwork in Alpine Vision Blue and Abyss Blue.
01:38The special edition L Blue, limited to just 15 units, is additionally characterized by the finest Poltrona Frau leather in the interior, which combines sporty dynamics with a touch of luxury.
01:51A total of only 110 A110 A110 Air Ultum vehicles are to be built, which significantly increases the collector's value of this model.
02:02Nevertheless, the price seems almost absurd in relation to the basic version of the A1, which already starts at around 65,000 euros.
02:10Even the standard A110 Air Ultum model with a price of 265,000 euros seems almost cheap compared to the Labeloo.
02:19But the question remains, is the A110 R Ultum a worthy farewell to the world of mid-engine sports cars or does it rather demonstrate how far the prices for new cars have gotten out of hand?
02:32With its impressive technical data and strict limited edition, it should be of particular interest to collectors.
02:42However, time will tell whether it will go down in history as a milestone or as a symbol of a price explosion.
