00:10Today we're talking about the 2 Series Lix Rave Re Snowmobile.
00:16Lix, the Finnish brand with decades of experience in the snowmobile scene,
00:21introduced its new model series a few weeks ago,
00:23including the revised version of the Rave R, which stands for Race Edition.
00:27This model is not only intended for European customers,
00:32but is also specifically aimed at the North American market.
00:37Technically, the new Rave R is based on the platform of the current RS for the 2025 racing season,
00:43with the changes deliberately kept to a minimum.
00:46After all, the aim here is to make something that is almost perfect even better.
00:50The key innovations concern two systems, the chassis and the engine.
00:54For 2026, the Ravery is equipped with the powerful Rotex 850-inch turbo air engine
01:01with water-cooled turbocharging.
01:05The unit delivers an impressive 180 horsepower and, thanks to water injection,
01:10the power delivery is constant, even over rapid changes in altitude.
01:14This ensures continuous thrust in every driving situation.
01:18The chassis has also been further developed.
01:21The new LFSAR package is now used at the front,
01:24which increases ground clearance with a higher spindle structure.
01:29A repositioned stabilizer bar reduces chassis roll by up to 20%,
01:33which ensures flatter cornering.
01:35The suspension is provided by a KWIB Pro 46 HLCR damper system with Kashima coating at the front,
01:44which contributes to improved performance thanks to its inclined arrangement.
01:48At the rear, Lynx relies on the proven PPS3 system,
01:51which is otherwise more commonly used in crossover snowmobiles.
01:55Thanks to its high adaptability, it is also ideal in the Ravery.
01:59The rear suspension can be individually adjusted to perfectly match the handling and rider weight.
02:09KWLB Pro 46 HCLR dampers with Kashima coating are also used here to ensure a smooth ride even in extreme snow contact.
02:18The Ravery also comes with some well-thought-out features.
02:22A launch control system is installed as standard,
02:25as are reinforced rails that provide additional stability during tough use.
02:31The Lynx system allows luggage or equipment to be attached securely and easily.
02:38Reliable braking is ensured by a Brembo system,
02:41while the IceRipper XT track with spikes ensures traction on any surface.
02:46The whole thing is controlled via a 10.25-inch display,
02:50which, in combination with the Lynx Group Ride app,
02:53allows you to stay in touch with your group at all times.
02:58All of this is installed on the Radian 2 platform and the snowmobile weighs a total of 240 kg.
03:06Anyone interested in purchasing the 2026 Ravery should expect to pay around 7,100 euros.
