00:21An adventure SUV that is positioned above the CV and promises high off-road capability with its robust look.
00:30In contrast to the previous generation, which looked more like a shortened pilot, the 2026 Passport gets a distinctive, more angular design that underlines its off-road ambitions.
00:43According to Honda, the Passport Trailsport is the brand's most off-road capable SUV to date.
00:49Pricing for the Honda Passport 206 starts at around âŹ43,000.
00:54In the Trailsport and Trailsport Elite trim levels, the vehicle gets a special off-road suspension setup, an improved all-wheel drive system, steel skid plates, eye-catching orange tow hooks, and all-terrain tires.
01:09The top-of-the-line Trailsport Elite model also offers a new trail watch camera system, perforated leather seats, and a high-quality Bose premium audio system with 12 speakers.
01:23Under the hood is a new 3.0-liter V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 35 newton-meters of torque.
01:30Power is transmitted via a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the standard all-wheel drive system ensures optimized torque distribution.

02:07The Passport Trailsport is a legitimate off-road capable SUV and every aspect of its performance and capabilities inside and out was designed to support this mission.
02:16In developing the Passport, the design team tested and retested the Trailsport to ensure it could conquer over 50% of public land trails, which include a variety of different types of off-road challenges.
02:31Why did they go the extra mile?
02:33Because the redesigned Passport, chassis, drivetrain, and suspension were engineered to give adventure-minded owners the ultimate go-anywhere SUV.
02:42Going one step further, Trailsport is equipped with the right upgrades to get you there and back.
02:50So, what's changed?
02:52Everything you need to be off-road capable.
02:5627,518 all-terrain tires were fitted to aggressively designed 18-inch wheels, the largest tires ever on a Honda vehicle.
03:05Trailsport offers better clearance, traction, and a more forgiving ride in off-road situations.
03:11The redesigned Intelligent Traction Management System now includes a new Trail Mode, which can unlock some great new features and capabilities.
03:21Immediately you'll notice the Digital Instrument Cluster will display trail-rated vehicle performance data and that's a game-changer when pushing Passport Trailsport to its limits.
03:32Knowing Roll and Pitch can be the difference between conquering an obstacle or going home on a trailer.
03:37If at any point your speed drops below 15 meters, Passport Trailsport Elite automatically engages Trail Watch, which uses the front camera to show you what's in front of and below on the 12.3 in color touchscreen.
03:52When cresting a hill, it's incredibly helpful to know what awaits you on the other side.
03:59To support more extreme situations, Trail Mode will engage X-Axle Logic, which transfers power to the wheels with the most traction when an axle loses contact with the ground.
04:09Picking a path forward can often mean finding creative ways to get past obstacles, and X-Axle Logic will help keep you moving.
04:18And if those obstacles include steep descent, Trail Sport has you covered with standard hill descent control.
04:25Even on steep, rough, and uneven surfaces, a simple push of a button engages this system.
04:31It will hold the descent speed so you can focus on picking the best path with confidence.
04:38To keep the Trail Sport protected when the going gets rough, skid plates were added below the fuel tank and front underbody and reinforced recovery points were added front and rear each of which are rated to support the Passport's entire weight.
04:51In the front, closed-loop recovery hooks painted the signature Trail Sport orange ensure that recovery gear can't slip off and are rated to twice the Passport's weight.
05:04Even a dedicated jackpad was added in the center to make lifting the Passport's front and debris even when off-road.
05:12In the rear, an integrated tow hitch can help protect the rear underbody from impacts while transitioning to level ground.
05:18And two recovery hooks are included for maximum off-road utility.
05:24Note the dual exhaust tips which are recessed above the rear bumper so they won't scrape when traversing obstacles or transitioning to a climb.
05:33All of this comes in a package that gives the new Passport an incredibly rugged image, especially when wrapped in the exclusive sunset orange or ash green metallic colors.
05:42It just looks the business and it has the off-roading chops to back it up and then some.
