00:22year, starting at a mid-range price of $40,000. Honda promises that the fourth-generation
00:32Passport is not only its most off-road capable SUV ever, but after testing a prototype last month,
00:38we can hardly argue with that. The 2026 Honda Passport is truly impressively tough.
00:49Today, we're going to be sharing all the details on this more rugged model,
00:53including its updated powertrain, revised trim levels, and cool features like a foldable
00:57picnic table. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower,
01:06five more than last year. Torque remains unchanged at 355 pound-feet, and a new 10-speed automatic
01:13transmission, tuned specifically for the Passport, replaces the previous 9-speed model.
01:18Honda's torque vectoring IVTM4 all-wheel-drive system is included as standard. The Passport
01:26features stronger forged steel suspension arms and heavy-duty cast-iron pivots. Honda has also
01:33retuned the McPherson front springs and added an all-new multi-link rear suspension. The braking
01:39system has been upgraded to larger 14-inch front brakes, and Honda offers a full-size spare tire.

03:02It also offers increased ground clearance and improved approach angle,
03:06and the Trailsport features steel skid plates for additional underbody protection.
03:12The matte black rear roof isn't just for styling. Honda has intentionally left this area clear so
03:19that users can lean tall gear against the vehicle without worrying about damage.
03:22Inside, the longer wheelbase provides 1.3 inches more legroom in the rear.
03:32The Passport also features a 10.2-inch digital driver display and a 12.4-inch infotainment screen,
03:38which is 45% larger than the previous model.
03:41Technology highlights include Google Build-In, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay,
03:49as well as cup holders, six of which are large enough to hold a 38cm-wide water bottle.
