00:00Welcome to a new video from the CarMagazine Tuning Blog.
00:15Today, we're all about an exciting topic, the new Ananda M5000 Mid-Drive Motor for E-Bikes.
00:22Before we get started, please subscribe so you don't miss any more news.
00:26The Ananda M5000 is a brand new motor on the e-bike market and is particularly notable
00:33for its combination of performance, weight, and price.
00:39With this model, Chinese manufacturer Ananda aims to gain a foothold in the tracking and
00:44city e-bike motor segment and to compete with established brands such as Bosch.
00:51The name Ananda may already be familiar to some, as the company has already been installed
00:56in lower-priced e-bikes.
00:58But with the M5000, Ananda now also wants to conquer the more demanding market.
01:04An important point is the low weight of the motor.
01:08At just 2 kilograms 500 grams, it weighs 800 grams less than its predecessor, the M4000.
01:17Despite this reduction, the M5000 still delivers a remarkable torque of 75 Nm.
01:22Although this is 5 Nm less than the previous model, this is still more than sufficient for
01:29a tracking or city e-bike to make good progress in everyday life.
01:35In addition, the motor operates in a proven 36-volt system and offers a rated output of 250 watts,
01:41which corresponds to the current standard.
01:43The flexibility of the drive system is particularly exciting.
01:50E-bike manufacturers can choose between a chain or a belt drive, which offers the user more options.
01:58The M5000 is also equipped with a state-of-the-art control panel, which includes a 2.4-inch TFT display.
02:04This not only provides a clear display of the most important information, it also supports Bluetooth
02:11in some versions and has a USB port, for example for charging a smartphone on the go.
02:18Another highlight is the quiet operation of the motor.
02:22At less than 50 decibels, the M5000 is particularly quiet, which makes the riding experience more
02:28pleasant and relaxing.
02:30A particular advantage in city traffic.
02:33The M5000 also has a lot to offer in terms of gearing.
02:37It is compatible with hub gears and is particularly worth mentioning the option of combining it
02:42with the Enviolo automatic transmission system.
02:47This high-end gear system adapts automatically, allowing for continuous adjustment of the trip
02:51frequency, speed and torque.
02:55Ideal for those who appreciate the convenience of automatic transmission.
02:59It is still unclear when exactly the first E-bikes with the M5000 will hit the market.
03:07Ananda recently started production of the motor, but specific models or prices have not yet been announced.
03:15We are curious to see how the motor will perform compared to the market leaders such as Bosch
03:20when the first test rides and reviews from China arrive.
03:26Finally, we would like to remind you that if you enjoyed our video and don't want to miss anything,
