00:00Welcome to the new video from Tuningblog. Today we're talking about an exciting topic.
00:11The Honda New Series, the new generation of electric cars with which Honda is aiming for a CO2 neutral future.

00:25The Honda series represents nothing less than a complete new beginning in the automotive world.
00:33Starting in 2026, Honda will enter the market with this new series and focus on fully electric drive.
00:41With this, the Japanese car manufacturer wants to become completely CO2 neutral by the middle of the century.
00:47This is a huge challenge that Honda is facing, especially as the world's largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines.
00:55So now it's time to say goodbye to conventional drivetrains and move full speed towards emission-free mobility.
01:04The first two vehicles in the No series will be presented at CES in 2025.
01:09They are a crossover sedan and an SUV.
01:14Both models are designed to offer plenty of space and flexibility.
01:19Ideal for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and versatile electric drive.
01:25It is also interesting that Honda is using a particularly flat battery integrated into the underbody of the vehicle during development.
01:34This battery is said to have a capacity of around 80 kWh and enable a range of almost 500 km.
01:41While other manufacturers are already using an 800-volt onboard network, Honda is sticking with a standard 400-volt architecture.
01:52Although this does not allow for particularly fast charging, it is still sufficient for most everyday situations.
01:59The vehicle can recharge enough energy for around 160 km within 15 minutes.
02:05This may not be a top value, but it is still sufficient for many everyday needs.
02:13Another exciting aspect of the new new series is the AI used in the vehicle.
02:19This artificial intelligence is intended to make everyday life easier.
02:23For example, by automatically opening the vehicle as soon as the driver is recognized,
02:27or even by opening the trunk when the luggage is heavily loaded.
02:30And that is just the beginning.
02:33Honda plans to further develop the AI so that it can take on more and more tasks in the vehicle.
02:40There is even speculation that in the future, it will be possible to sit in the passenger seat from home using VR glasses to virtually accompany the driver.
02:49Honda also has a lot to offer in terms of technology with the Zero Series vehicles.
02:53Two electric motors, one at the front with 245hp and one at the rear with 68hp, provide all-wheel drive.
03:03The torque of these motors is impressive at 100Nm, which should make the driving experience particularly dynamic.
03:10Honda is therefore not only focusing on efficiency, but also wants to bring a high level of driving pleasure to electric cars.
03:17The production of the Zero Series will also be particularly interesting.
03:21Honda is investing a gigantic $60 billion in the project, $11 billion of which will go into the construction of a new EV factory in Canada.
03:33This factory is expected to be able to produce 240,000 vehicles per year from 2028.
03:39A battery factory will also be built in collaboration with LG in order to cover the entire value chain for electromobility.
03:45These huge investments show that Honda is serious about becoming one of the leading manufacturers in the field of electromobility.
03:57Ultimately, however, the question remains whether Honda will actually achieve the breakthrough it hopes for with the new series.
04:03The Honda e, a cute but far too expensive city car, failed to gain a foothold in the market and has already been discontinued.
04:14Now the Null Series is set to bring great success and get the Japanese manufacturer back on track.
04:19One thing is for sure, the future remains exciting and Honda is putting everything on the line to once again be at the forefront of the electric car world.
