00:00Trump Receives Crown from South Korea
00:02It was a crowning achievement for President Donald Trump, as he became the first American
00:07to receive South Korea's highest honor. South Korean President Lee Jae-myung awarded Trump
00:12the Grand Order of Mugung-hwa Wednesday during a ceremony in Gyeongju, Mediaite reported.
00:17The award is the highest national honor in South Korea and is usually awarded to heads of state.
00:23Lee cited Trump's work trying to achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula.
00:27Trump was presented with an ornate medal and a replica of a Scylla-era crown,
00:32described as the largest and most extravagant among the six remaining from Korea's first
00:37unified kingdom. The announcer proclaimed the honor given,
00:41in anticipation of the peace and prosperity Trump will bring to the region.
00:46That is really beautiful. I'd like to wear it right now, Trump said of the medal.
