During a press briefing on Monday, President Trump spoke about a joint meeting between leaders from South Korea and North Korea.
Transcript
00:00Do you plan to attend APEC summit to be heard in Korea?
00:07The summit in South Korea?
00:09Yes.
00:09Yeah, I'd love to.
00:10I'd love to.
00:11Last time I spoke in front of your parliament, and I love doing that.
00:14Beautiful, beautiful respect they had for our country and a beautiful room.
00:19I remember how beautiful it was, and I enjoyed doing it.
00:22No, I could see going.
00:23I think I'm going for a trade meeting to South Korea pretty soon.
00:27And you're hosting a trade meeting, so I can sneak away from that trade meeting,
00:31and we'll go and do something for the president if he'd like me to do that.
00:34Okay?
00:34But so we'll be going there fairly soon.
00:36If you can, then it's a good chance to meet up with Kim Jong-un again, or maybe Xi Jinping.
00:44And how about, how do you think of it?
00:46You mean set them up together?
00:47Yes.
00:48That'd be interesting.
00:50We'll arrange a meeting between you and Kim Jong-un.
00:53Would you like that?
00:53That's a very tough question right now.
00:58I don't know where that question is leading.
01:01Anyway, look, I get along great with Kim Jong-un,
01:03and whatever I can do, having to do with South Korea and getting people together,
01:08it should, you should get together, right?
