President Trump highlighted his “great relationship” with Kim Jong-un during his first White House meeting with South Korea’s new president, Lee Jae Myung, according to CNBC. Lee praised Trump during their meeting, which followed a trade deal capping tariffs on South Korea’s exports to the U.S. at 15%. Lee asked Trump to help establish lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula and said he looked forward to Trump’s meeting with Kim Jong-un. He also suggested building a Trump Tower in North Korea and proposed that Trump and Kim play golf together. Trump said he had a “great relationship” with Kim Jong-un and suggested arranging a meeting between Lee and Kim.
