00:00The latest video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog is about the brand new Arcooks T1.
00:06A fully electric hatchback model from Berig, which has been available for pre-order in China since August 22 and is already causing a huge stir.
00:18The compact 5-door model is available in 5 different equipment variants, which offer either a range of 320 or 425 km.
00:27The basic 320 Pro version starts at around 8,000 euros, followed by the 320 Plus for around 8,500 euros.
00:38Those who want more range can opt for the 425 Pro for around 9,000 euros, while the 425 Plus costs around 10,000 euros.
00:48The top model, the 425 Max, costs around 11,000 euros.
00:52It is particularly noteworthy that the variants with a range of 425 km will be delivered from the market launch, while the models with a range of 320 km will not follow until mid-October.
01:07Within just two hours of the start of pre-orders, over 11,000 reservations had already been received, impressively underlining the high demand for the small electric vehicle.
01:17Visually, the Arcooks T1 relies on the so-called Arcao design, which emphasizes flowing lines.
01:27Particularly striking are the continuous light strip at the front, which connects both headlights, the recessed door handles, the sporty 18-inch aluminum rims and a black decorative panel, which connects the geometric taillights.
01:39Buyers can choose between six paint finishes, white, blue, silver, green, purple and gray.
01:48Despite its compact dimensions of around 4.3 meters long, 1.9 meters wide, 1.6 meters high and a wheelbase of 2.8 meters, the car offers an astonishingly generous sense of space.
02:01The manufacturer also emphasizes that the T1 is the first vehicle in its class with intelligent steering assistance at low speeds, which reduces the turning circle by 30 centimeters, enabling a minimum turning circle of just 5.2 meters.
02:17Technically, the Arcooks T1 offers two different drive variants, a model with 95 horsepower and one with 129 horsepower, each combined with a lithium-iron phosphate battery with a capacity of either around 41.7 kilowatt-hours or 42.3 kilowatt-hours.
02:37Depending on the equipment, ranges of 320 or 425 kilometers are available.
02:46The interior of the T1 presents itself in a modern and technology-oriented way, with a flat four-spoke steering wheel, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument display and a large 15.6-inch touchscreen.
03:00The cockpit dominates the central control system.
03:02An integrated AI voice assistant makes operation easier, while the front seats can be folded down completely at the touch of a button.
03:11There is also a generous panoramic glass roof with an area of around 2.3 square meters, which lets plenty of light into the interior.
03:19The trunk normally holds 460 L, but can be expanded to over 1,300 L by folding down the rear seats, which also makes the T1 suitable for longer journeys or larger purchases.
