Der Hongqi H5 PHEV ist Chinas neuester Plug-in-Hybrid und bringt beeindruckende technische Daten mit. Er kombiniert einen 1,5-Liter-Turbobenziner mit 150 PS und einen Elektroantrieb, der ihm eine elektrische Reichweite von 170 Kilometern ermöglicht. Die Gesamtreichweite liegt bei satten 1.600 Kilometern! Dazu gibt es 60 kW DC-Schnellladen, womit die Batterie schnell wieder gefüllt ist.
Optisch setzt der H5 PHEV auf bekannte Hongqi-Designmerkmale: Der große vertikale Kühlergrill, schlanke LED-Scheinwerfer und ein durchgehendes Rückleuchtenband verleihen der Limousine eine markante Optik. Mit einer Länge von 5,0 Metern und einem Radstand von 2,9 Metern bietet der H5 PHEV viel Platz und konkurriert mit Modellen wie dem Honda Accord und Toyota Camry.
