00:09Today, we're all about the revised Citroën IC4, which has been available in its facelift version since October 2024.
00:17The entry-level price for this electric car now starts at $31,900, a significant price reduction compared to the previous basic version, which cost $34,800,874.
00:30This means that the new basic version is almost €3,000 cheaper.
00:35The Citroën IC4 measures 4.35 meters in length and is still available in two-engine battery combinations, with 136 atropur parts and a battery capacity of 50 kilowatts, and with 156 atropur parts and a capacity of 54 kilowatts.
00:53Interestingly, the more powerful engine now has a range that is around 60 kilometers longer and costs €34,100, €34,100 in the plus version instead of the previous 36,925.
01:07This also represents a saving of around €2,800.
01:09Despite these adjustments, the driving performance and charging times remain unchanged.
01:15The more powerful version achieves a range of 416 kilometers according to the WLTP standard, while the weaker variant can travel between 342 and 354 kilometers depending on the model.
01:27However, the basic version, called the U, has been slimmed down somewhat.
01:33Instead of the previous 18-inch steel wheels, there are now only 16-inch steel rims, and the variable boot floor is no longer part of the standard equipment.
01:42Nevertheless, the rest of the equipment remains at the usual high level.
01:46The standard equipment still includes a 5.5-inch instrument display, a 10-inch touchscreen, LED headlights, lights and rain sensors, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, rear parking sensors, two-zone automatic climate control, a heat pump, an 11-kilowatt onboard charger, cruise control, and lane-keeping assistant.
02:07The Citroën C4 is available in four equipment lines, which, however, can no longer be combined with the engines at will at launch.
02:17Overall, it is clear that Citroën has been able to further increase the appeal of its compact electric car with the facelift through lower prices and a slightly optimized range, without sacrificing the basic advantages of the model.
