00:34Royal Enfield, traditionally known for its distinctive motorcycles in the mid-displacement segment between 250 and 750cc, is now expanding its portfolio with a new line for urban electromobility.
00:45The electric brand Flying Flea, which is named after the historic Flying Flea model from the 1940s, is set to launch the C6 and S6 models in spring 2026 and will offer sustainable driving pleasure in the city.
01:01Royal Enfield is not only focusing on electric drive, but also on a design that combines classic elements and modern technology to offer drivers a completely new electric driving experience.
01:15The name Flying Flea is there for a reason.
01:22During World War II, the original Flying Flea model stood out for its versatility and lightweight, which even allowed it to be parachuted and used flexibly in the field.
01:31This historical inspiration has now been transferred to the design of the new Flying Flea and revived in a modern form.
01:43The classic design has been reinterpreted to reflect the history of Royal Enfield while at the same time heralding the modern era of electric mobility.
01:51The first model, the Flying Flea C6, is designed specifically for urban traffic and combines classic elements with state-of-the-art technology.
02:02There is a distinctive trapezoidal fork and a curved aluminum design that are reminiscent of the original.
02:09At the same time, state-of-the-art features are used, such as a robust magnesium battery housing and a round touchscreen display,
02:16which enables the combination of retro charm and innovative riding comfort.
02:21This retro-futuristic aesthetic remains true to the typical Royal Enfield style and offers riders a completely new sense of freedom and individuality.
02:33For the techies among you, the Integrated Vehicle Control Unit, VCU, plays a central role and combines the digital and physical functions of the motorcycle.
02:42It allows individual riding modes and supports over-the-air updates, so that functions such as the phone as a key and personalized settings can be easily controlled.
02:53In addition, the Flying Flea scores with innovative safety features such as a tilt-controlled anti-lock braking system and regenerative braking.
03:03All of this is complemented by easy-charging options that allow the motorcycle to be charged directly from a standard household socket.
03:14With the Flying Flea, Royal Enfield is bringing an environmentally friendly and at the same time powerful solution for urban mobility to the streets and thus wants to offer an alternative for sustainable city traffic.
03:24It is clear that with the Flying Flea, Royal Enfield has summed up its vision of urban electromobility and is perfectly suited for the modern city rider.
03:36Detailed information on the technical specifications and the sales launch are expected in the course of next year.
