00:00Even on a rainy day, Angie Nags makes sure she's fully protected from the sun.
00:07She has an autoimmune disease called lupus.
00:11My lupus particularly is highly stimulated by UV exposure.
00:16Angie regularly use 2 of 19 sunscreens that have been recalled or paused from sale in recent weeks
00:24over concerns they weren't meeting their SPF claims.
00:28They were all made using the same base formulation from PERF manufacturer Wildchild Laboratories.

01:18There was a notable lack of quality assurance within all the processes of manufacturing, testing and release of the product.
01:26Wildchild's CEO said all issues identified by the FDA have been addressed by significant investment in this facility.
01:35But the TGA told the ABC it was not aware of the FDA's 2024 audit report until you began investigating several sunscreens in June this year.
01:47The TGA has lost their social licence right now in terms of telling us what is safe and how to protect ourselves and our families from the sun.
01:57않 the U.S.
