Cyclone Montha. The AP Disaster Management Authority said that Mondha is gradually weakening. To this extent, the MD of the agency, Prakhar Jain, issued a statement. He said that this severe storm has weakened into a cyclone. He said that it is likely to weaken into a severe cyclonic storm in the next 6 hours. Due to its impact, there is a possibility of widespread rain in AP and Telangana today. It said that there is a possibility of very heavy rain in Hanumakonda, Janagama, and Warangal. It said that Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, and Palnadu districts may experience heavy rains here and there. మొంథా’ క్రమంగా బలహీనపడుతోందని ఏపీ విపత్తుల నిర్వహణ సంస్థ తెలిపింది. ఈ మేరకు ఆ సంస్థ ఎండీ ప్రఖర్‌జైన్‌ ఓ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ తీవ్ర తుపాను.. తుపానుగా బలహీనపడిందన్నారు. రానున్న 6 గంటల్లో తీవ్ర వాయుగుండంగా బలహీనపడే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు. దీని ప్రభావంతో నేడు ఏపీ, తెలంగాణలో విస్తారంగా వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు. హనుమకొండ, జనగామ, వరంగల్ లో అతి భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపింది. శ్రీకాకుళం, విజయనగరం, పార్వతీపురం మన్యం, అల్లూరి, విశాఖ, అనకాపల్లి, ఏలూరు, కృష్ణా, ఎన్టీఆర్, గుంటూరు, బాపట్ల, పల్నాడు జిల్లాల్లో అక్కడక్కడ భారీ వర్షాలు కురువొచ్చని పేర్కొంది. #monthacyclone #montha #cyclone
