00:00Hello everyone, good evening. In just around 100 meters from where I am, this is the premises of the Bihar Assembly, is where the manifesto launch is happening.
00:11Tejasvi Yadav is going to address the gathering any moment now.
00:15On the manifesto of the Mahagat Bandhan is the picture of Tejasvi Yadav.
00:20Remember when he began his day today and his day of campaigning, he said that this is Tejasvi's Pranpatra, that he is taking the pledge that he will ensure that these promises are fulfilled.
00:32Let me go straight to Rohit who is joining us live from Patna, from in fact at the Maurya Hotel where this press conference is being held.
00:43Could the Mahagat Bandhan have delayed this press conference by just two days?
00:49On 30th is when Rahul Gandhi will be campaigning in Bihar. Could they have done that?
00:55Perhaps, no, in fact he is campaigning tomorrow onwards. Could they have launched this Mahagat Bandhan manifesto tomorrow?
01:06Well, if that would have happened, then it could have sent very positive indications and very positive message also as far as the unity of the Mahagat Bandhan is concerned.
01:18But that hasn't happened. In fact, Rahul Gandhi will be in Bihar tomorrow.
01:22He will be addressing a couple of rallies in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga.
01:27But just a few hours before Rahul Gandhi will be in Bihar today, it's the launch of the manifesto of the Mahagat Bandhan,
01:36which is called the Tejasvi Pran, which is right now underway at the Maurya Hotel in Patna and what is very interesting is that all the big leaders of all the political parties are participating in this.
01:52Tejasvi Adav is representing the RJD, you have Pawan Khera from the Congress who is there, Dipankar Bhattachada from the CPIML, left leaders are there, Mukeshani are there in attendance.
02:03So, trying to showcase unity as far as the Mahagat Bandhan is concerned, but very interesting to watch out for what is going to be the idea and what are the details that will be there in the manifesto.
02:20Because remember, Tejasvi Adav on his own has made several promises in the last fortnight or so, ranging from providing a job to each and every household, that is almost 2.5 crore households in Bihar,
02:36to giving 30,000 salary to Jivika Didi community mobilizers, to regularizing the services of those working on contract in Bihar.
02:46And there are other several schemes and promises that Tejasvi Adav has declared.
02:53So, all those we believe will be part of this joint manifesto, which is right now being launched in Patna.
03:01Back to you.
03:05Yes, and the NDA will be launching its manifesto on 30th.
03:10So, what is the big takeaway is going to be a likely, what NDA will be promising.
03:16Remember, the NDA-led alliance of Nitish Kumar has, in the last few weeks, just ahead of the Model Code of Conduct, which kicked in,
03:28had ensured disbursements of several lakh crores.
03:31This was for the Jivika Didis, who benefited from the government schemes, and similar announcements have been made for the youths of Bihar as well.
03:40Let me bring in Aishwarya and get a sense of what is likely to be the big takeaway, and who will launch the NDA manifesto on 30th.
03:50Aishwarya.
03:50Well, you know, Maria, from what we are understanding, all the biggies of the BJP and of the entire NDA.
04:01Chirak Paswan, you will see him sitting there on the stage.
04:03Nitish Kumar, he will also be on the stage.
04:05Home Minister Amit Shah, he will also be on the stage.
04:07Darmint Pradhan, the man who is in charge of the state of Bihar, he will also be there on the stage,
04:12along with Vinod Tavre, someone who, in fact, has been camping in Bihar at least over the past three months.
04:18So, all these people, along with Chirak Paswan, people from his team, his core team, all of them will be there.
04:24Upend Kuchwa, he is also someone who will be sitting on the dais when the manifesto will be launched.
04:28The BJP believes, in fact, the entire NDA alliance believes, that this time, what they are fighting for is for Vikas,
04:36and they are also telling people, do not forget the Jungle Raj.
04:39You also heard, Maria, when Home Minister Amit Shah, during that rally, spoke about the fact that there was a terror
04:43when we speak about the area of Sivan, and that terror is something that people have not forgotten.
04:49Also, speaking about massive corruption that took place when the RJD was ruling,
04:53almost for 15 years, the state of Bihar.
04:55So, the NDA, very, very clearly telling the people that, in case you do vote on that side,
05:00just remember those 15 years, and remember what will happen if Tejasvi Yadav comes back to power.
05:05They will be dragging Bihar back to the Dark Ages.
05:07So, this is something that all the top leaders of the NDA have been speaking about.
05:10Just hold on to your thoughts. Let's cut across to Tejasvi Yadav, who is now addressing the gathering there.
05:15So, our само delay, how will we catch that?
05:28The reason you have to like this is the meaning of Sammachh,
05:30And today it is very is the number of happiness about Torah,
05:33that our baldians of Sahasa blamed our body,
05:39and our 힘 in God since past,

09:29if you let one thing that you know, if you look at one thing, it is negative.
09:37It is a negative thing.
09:39Some word, some one thing that says you're the president,
09:43you're the commander, you're the commander,
09:47or the commander,
09:50any other thing that you can grow,
09:55you don't say any thing about it.
09:58What vision will be in India for the next five years? What blueprint will be in the future?
10:05Even now, there has not been a sign of the book. What is the reason?
10:14They don't have any plans? They don't have vision?
10:19In India, we can say that all people in India are all visionless people.
10:29And it seems that everything is not fair.
10:34We have to work to make Bihar. They have to work to make Bihar.
10:41We have seen that in the first time in Bihar, there are 1500 companies of Central Forces.
10:53And we also know that some of the V.C. and V.C.
10:58Two or three days ago, what kind of instruction has been given?
11:02This is good to know that we are in our mind.
11:08I would like to say to all of them,
11:13that those people who have also received the word of God,
11:18Bihar, don't do it to become their own.
11:23Don't do it to anyone. Don't do it to anyone.
11:29Don't do it to anyone. Don't do it to anyone. Don't do it to anyone.
11:34Don't do it to anyone. Don't do it to anyone, don't do it to vote.
11:38Don't do it to anyone. Don't do it to everyone.
11:39This is because of Bihar, women,
11:41we all are welcome.
11:43If anyone has been given to everyone,
11:46if anyone else will come to the FCC,
11:48it will come to the V.C.
11:50which 60% of the votes are put on the vote,
11:55where the most important votes of the Mahagrabundan are,
11:59will be slow-polling.
12:03We need to tell you, this time we are convinced,
12:06the people of the Mahagrabundan and Bihar
12:11will remain in the vote and will work with the whole videography.
12:16The point of the vote of the Tana Shahi,
12:23the people of Bihar will not be able to go,
12:27will be able to keep their vote,
12:31and will not be able to be free.
12:33That's why we are doing the Vinaabur Agra,
12:37who are so important,
12:39that do not work with the faithfulness,
12:41do not do the faithfulness,
12:44which you have received from Sanvidhan,
12:47according to all of you,
12:49will be able to work with the new Poonr.
12:54There is no way to go.
12:59You have seen that Bihar's people
13:03are unable to take the 7th anniversary.
13:07They are seeking that the attempt to get away from 6 or 11 years,
13:12who will be able to get the people of Bihar's people of Bihar,
13:15and this time Bihar's people will not be able,
13:19they will be able to take away from Bihar's people,
13:21the government wants to go,
13:22they want to go,
13:23they want to go,
13:25The government wants to study, study, study, and study.
13:31The government wants to listen and listen.
13:35The government wants to eat here in Bihar.
13:39The government wants to eat.
13:41The food processing unit wants to eat.
13:43The agro-based industry wants to eat.
13:45The IT, park, SCZ, SSC.
13:48The government wants to open Bihar's own.
13:51The federal government wants to join Bihar's.
13:56The government wants to operate in a good education.
14:00They appraise the children and relatives.
14:03Whole Крமств open H вощ습니다.
14:06The government wants to listen and listen to Bihar's divine claim.
14:11The government wants to support the people fromjets.
14:15These people may comptonounce their grounds.
14:17The people of Bihar, the people of Bihar, want to say that this is the Shrijan Ghutala, the Balikakri Kand,
14:27in the CIG report of 70,000 crores of Bihar, the people of Bihar will teach these people.
14:40The people of Bihar do not have any advice, the people of Bihar have not been taken,
14:48they are not being taken away to the people of Bihar, they are not being taken away.
14:57They are not being taken away from this society, they are working to live.
15:02This is the right thing that has been used for this time,
15:05the people of Bihar must be able to change.
15:10We don't say anything much.
15:13In this case, all the things that we have said,
15:18which are our soul,
15:20we will also be able to complete our soul,
15:25and we will be able to make Bihar number one state.
15:29Thank you all for all of you.
15:31Jai Bihar, Jai Hind.
15:46Ask first from India,
15:48when will the letter come from India?
15:50We will tell you, we are all over.
15:53Where will the letter come from?
15:56Leave them all.
15:58We will tell you,
16:00one thing that has been written in it,
16:02without experts,
16:04without the experience,
16:08without the data,
16:10we don't do the same words.
16:16What are the words,
16:17they do,
16:18and what are the words,
16:19they do.
16:20And you will make it all.
16:23And you will tell us,
16:24we are all over.
16:25First,
16:26we will tell us what we have done in India.
16:27First,
16:28we will tell ourselves that,
16:29what they have done in the budget,
16:31where will they get the budget.
16:32We have a full plan,
16:33a blueprint.
16:34And sometimes,
16:35we are going to tell us,
16:36how will the work of the work?
16:38There are many people,
16:39they are all over.
16:40They are all over.
16:41They are all over.
16:42They have said that,
16:44that it will not happen.
16:45In 2020,
16:46people were saying,
16:47how will it happen?
16:48What will it happen?
16:49What will it happen?
16:50What will it happen?
16:51If you have a government,
16:53the government has no government,
16:55we will give them one government,
16:58we will give them.
17:00This is the one that will happen.
17:02I will tell you,
17:03as well,
17:04that means that,
17:05we must not keep the察,
17:06we should not keep the察,
17:07we need to live.
17:09People who do authority,
17:12and trust us.
17:15We may believe that,
17:17many things are happening.
17:19There are certain shapes.
17:20The backs of the backs,
17:21there are 25.
17:24After that,
17:25there are different sectors of these,
17:27there are certain aspects too.
17:29And there are also protests.
17:31I think that you can implement this very much, which is practical.
17:39We have agreed upon all these things.
17:43We have been doing this for our people.
17:47So there is no confusion for you.
17:51We have also said before that,
18:01that there is no confusion in this law.
18:08So that the whole society,
18:12you will see that in an arctic way,
18:17that there is no confusion,
18:19that there is no confusion,
18:21that there is no confusion.
18:23A toddy, it is not an alcohol,
18:25it is a natural thing.
18:27So I think that some of the NDA people
18:29have also committed to our conversation.
18:33So the rest of the things will happen later,
18:35but the things that are clear,
18:37they are doing here.
18:39We have also said before,
18:41that there is no confusion in this law.
18:45We have also said before that,
18:47that there is no confusion in this law.
18:49How do we do it?
18:51So the Mahagat Bandhan has released its manifesto.
19:05Of course, the big takeaway was,
19:07Tejasvi Aadav again asking the NDA,
19:23who is your face in this election?
19:25Amitabh Tiwari, political analyst and a Bihar watcher,
19:28joins me live.
19:30So it's very clear that as far as the promises
19:32that was made by Tejasvi over the last few weeks,
19:35is something that will be part of this manifesto.
19:38And the Mahagat Bandhan party, Amitabh Tiwari,
19:41is using this platform again to send a message
19:44of unity versus who.
19:46It's Tejasvi versus who is the question
19:48that is being asked by Tejasvi repeatedly.
19:52No, essentially if you see,
19:54the Mahagat Bandhan did face issues
19:57with respect to ticket distribution.
19:59Almost a two week, you can say,
20:03non-communication between the major parties,
20:06RJD and Congress.
20:07And we've also seen that there are some,
20:10a dozen of seats where friendly fights are happening.
20:13However, in a heated election as Bihar,
20:17vote share movements or sentiments move on a daily basis,
20:22on the basis of the news.
20:24So Home Minister Amit Shah's statement
20:27regarding the chief ministership
20:29as to how it will be settled.
20:31And then a unified press conference of Mahagat Bandhan
20:35projecting Tejasvi Aadav as CM
20:37and Mukesh Shani as deputy CM.
20:39And now this joint manifesto
20:42seems to have given the momentum back to MGB
20:46or neutralized some of the losses,
20:49which is the perception losses it received
20:52because of these friendly fights
20:54and the miscommunication which happened between,
20:57essentially between Congress and RJD.
20:59And now, so they are asking the question,
21:01who will be the CM of NDA?
21:05And this is classic, you can say,
21:08Prime Minister Modi style or NDA style
21:10for general elections,
21:11when they ask this question repeatedly,
21:13who is the prime ministerial candidate
21:15of India bloc or the UPA?
21:17Modi versus who?
21:18Yeah, Modi versus who.
21:19So they are trying to play that.
21:21And you make an interesting observation
21:23that Amitav Diwali,
21:26over the last few days,
21:28what is evident is,
21:29particularly after the announcement of Mukesh Shani
21:32as the deputy chief ministerial candidate
21:34and Thijasvi as the face of this entire Mahagat Bandhan.
21:37Do you think the EBCs are also witnessing
21:41some kind of mobilization?
21:43Because in the absence of that question
21:45not being asked as to,
21:47is Nitish Kumar really the face of the NDA?
21:49Or will he be only the face till the elections
21:54and will he be actually the chief minister
21:56if NDA actually wins this election?
21:59Now see essentially it is all about representation in Bihar.
22:04Different communities, social group,
22:06backed political parties basis,
22:08the number of tickets and the ministerial positions
22:12which they receive.
22:13Now the EBC community which had joined hands
22:16with the Yadav community and the Muslims
22:18to dislodge the upper caste led government of the Congress
22:22felt cheated in the 15 years
22:24and shifted to Nitish in 2005
22:26because they were perhaps denied the key ministerial positions of power
22:32because it was largely centralized with Lalu Yadav's family.
22:35Now here Nitish Kumar over the last 20 years
22:38has emerged as the leader of non-Yadav OBCs and the EBCs.
22:42So and the BJP or the NDA has two deputy chief ministers
22:49in the EBC community, correct?
22:54So essentially on the opposition side
22:58you have a deputy CM face from the EBC community
23:01whereas here with NDA there is no commitment as to whether
23:06the champion of EBCs who is considered as Nitish Kumar still
23:11will remain the chief minister or not
23:13or whether BJP will install an upper caste chief minister
23:17or somebody else.
23:18So that question mark is there
23:20which is leading to this confusion I would say.
23:24Okay, let me ask you the last question
23:29and then we wrap up this broadcast here from Patna.
23:33Is this imagery that it is Tejasvi not Rahul really of any consequence?
23:42Or do you sense that Tejasvi and other leaders from the Congress party
23:48or CPIML, IP Singh's party, Mukesh Saani of the VIP party
23:54they make a sufficient picture because this is a state election?
23:58As discussed many times earlier also
24:01I think it is largely hyper local election now, correct?
24:04Because now the candidates have been announced.
24:07That's right. It's a very localized election.
24:09I can say that certainly Amitabh Tiwari having traveled
24:12several districts of Bihar in the last five days
24:15the sense is that it is about who will be the chief minister yes
24:19but it is as much about the local MLA.
24:23So the local MLA is an important factor in these elections in Bihar.
24:28And so that's why you see micro level
24:33coming from the NDA where it was able to convince
24:39some of the candidates of Jansuraj party to withdraw
24:43or give their support to the NDA.
24:46We have seen in some cases the Home Minister Amit Shah sat here
24:51for around three to four days and tried to dissuade rebels
24:55from either filing nominations or withdrawing nominations.
24:58So it's now largely micro wherein the party
25:02which is able to create a perfect cast arithmetic on the seat
25:07and also manage dissatisfaction or rebellion could largely emerge as winners.
25:14And we could see a very or rather we are seeing a very close election
25:18where the narrative has moved from the state level narrative
25:22to largely the seat level narrative.
25:25However, incidents like the announcement of manifesto etc.
25:30bring some light back to the larger narrative or the state level narrative.
25:34But then again it is likely to shift to the seat level narrative
25:38only in the days to come.
25:41All right, Amitabh Tiwari, pleasure having you on this broadcast.
25:47Thank you so much for joining us.
25:49So the Mahagat Bandhan has launched its manifesto
25:52and Teja Svi Yadav again asked the question
25:55as to who is the face of the NDA in this election.
26:00The NDA manifesto is likely to be launched on 30th
26:04in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah
26:06and a battery of leaders who are all travelling from New Delhi.
26:10A lot of questions that will be asked
26:12but in a very hyper local election
26:14how will these cards play out?
