00:00So look, you don't need expensive camera gear or years of experience being a videographer
00:06to grow on YouTube.
00:08You really only need five tools and consistency to go from zero to monetized relatively quickly.
00:17And the cool thing is, creators that are absolutely doing great on the platform use these tools
00:23every single day.
00:24And, well, creators that are not using these are really having a hard time growing their
00:30channel.
00:31So in this video, I'm going to show you the five tools that you need to make sure that
00:36you're using if you want to grow your YouTube channel.
00:38And the last tool that I'll actually show you, you want to make sure you pay attention
00:43because it literally gives you viral YouTube ideas or titles that you can definitely use
00:50to help you get more engagement and views on your YouTube channel.
00:53And the first tool that we're actually going to go over is vidIQ.
00:57Basically, it's your YouTube research assistant, if you kind of want to think of it that way.
01:04So vidIQ is really nice because it's actually a Chrome browser extension that connects directly
01:09to your YouTube account that shows you exactly the topics that people are looking for.
01:15And not only that, but let's jump into my vidIQ and I can kind of show you around.
01:19Now, obviously, this is kind of cool that it popped up right now to be completely honest
01:23with you, but we do have a milestone on the channel.
01:28Thank you so much.
01:30So trust me when I say these strategies actually work when it comes to increasing your views.
01:37So when you're actually in vidIQ, you have a couple different things that you can look at.
01:44You can find trending keyword topics based on the information that you have on your channel.
01:50So these are some of the keywords that have done really, really well for me in the past 30 days on my actual channel.
01:57So vidIQ is saying, if I continue to make videos about these specific topics or these specific keywords,
02:04I will probably continue to have a lot of views on my channel because this content does really well for me.
02:11Now, if you are somebody that's just starting out on YouTube and you really don't know what to do,
02:15there's another thing called top keyword opportunities in which you can look to see
02:20what it would recommend that you can kind of go after when it comes to keywords on your channel.
02:26Then they also have rising keywords.
02:28I don't necessarily use this one too terribly much because I like to be very specific with
02:33the keywords that I'm using and I really want to target the niche and the audience that I'm trying
02:36to cultivate.
02:37But if you're somebody who's just getting on YouTube and you're just trying to make videos
02:42that will do really well, you can always look at the rising keywords and know that when you make
02:46content in this specific keywords, especially because the volume has increased so dramatically,
02:52you're probably going to do really well just because if a lot of people are searching
02:56for those keywords, even a new video from a new creator can kind of get pushed to the top
03:00just because that's what a lot of people are looking for.
03:03VidIQ essentially is your roadmap.
03:05It's going to tell you which keywords are working good in your channel and which ones
03:09you should probably target for future videos.
03:11So this is a great way to kind of start specifically if you already have a niche that you know you
03:16want to focus on by finding what keywords that niche is actually looking for and then just
03:22creating content for those keywords so you know that you'll get views on your actual video.
03:26Now, for the second tool that we're going to look at, it's actually going to be TubeBuddy.
03:31And TubeBuddy is essentially your optimization sidekick.
03:36And it's also a free Chrome extension that you can connect to your browser that really helps
03:41you understand, yes, I have keywords from VidIQ, but now how do those keywords actually translate
03:49to video title ideas or video ideas within YouTube.
03:54So if you go to YouTube and you do have a TubeBuddy account, link in the description if you do want
04:00to sign up.
04:00It is free, by the way, so, you know, it's pretty good to use.
04:04You can type in how to grow on YouTube and there'll be a ton of different videos that actually pop up,
04:10all with varying titles and descriptions and thumbnails.
04:16And if you look on the right-hand side, because you already have VidIQ and now you have TubeBuddy,
04:22you have more information about the keywords in the videos that are under the keywords that
04:28you are researching.
04:29So VidIQ tells us that the overall score is a 62 on this specific title, How to Grow on YouTube,
04:36which obviously is a pretty broad title and you can definitely niche down.
04:41I mean, just look at what this first creator did right here, How to Survive Being a Small YouTube
04:46Channel, The Truth About Growth.
04:49Not only is he making a video that hits the keywords of How to Grow on YouTube, but he also
04:55sub-niched down to talk to small YouTube creators, not just anybody on the platform.
05:02And, but with how to grow your YouTube, the volume is good, there is medium level of competition,
05:10it'll show you the highest views, average views, average subscribers, add it in the last
05:15seven days, and then if you continue to go down, it'll show you other related opportunities
05:21that you might be able to also target in your keyword research for your videos.
05:27So, you might want to target beginner YouTube, so how to grow on YouTube as a complete beginner,
05:34how to hook your viewers on YouTube, tips to growing on YouTube, and then those are all
05:40from VidIQ.
05:41If you scroll down, TubeBuddy will also give you more recommendations, how to grow on YouTube
05:48shorts, how to grow on YouTube fast, how to grow your YouTube channel, growing on YouTube
05:53for a small content creator.
05:56All of these are very good keywords that you can now try to target when it comes to putting
06:01them in your title, your description, and your actual thumbnail to get people to stop and
06:07click on your video.
06:08Without these two Chrome extensions that are completely free, by the way, it would be really
06:14hard to actually tell what keyword you should target because there just wouldn't be a lot
06:19of information available unless you're already making content in that niche.
06:24Now obviously you can go into YouTube and you can see which keywords are doing well for
06:28you based on past videos, but now you already know going into the video that you're going
06:33to make on how likely it is to perform good or perform bad.
06:38Now the next tool that we're actually going to look at is Canva, and Canva makes creating
06:42thumbnails relatively easy even if you have no prior graphic design skills.
06:49Trust me, I struggled for a long time with this, Canva has helped out tremendously.
06:56So if we actually jump into Canva, you see I have a ton of different variations of my thumbnails.
07:02If you watched my previous video on some of the hacks that you should know about growing
07:06a YouTube channel, I will link the card somewhere up here.
07:09It'll show you exactly why I'm making multiple thumbnails, but just a simple breakdown.
07:14You can test your thumbnails and YouTube will tell you which thumbnail would perform best
07:19and use that one to actually show people so that they actually click on your video.
07:23So using at least a few that you can test is definitely a good idea.
07:28But if we're looking at this thumbnail specifically, it shows me, obviously, because you want to have
07:36some personal touch to your thumbnails.
07:39And then it shows a very clear expectation of what you're getting in my video.
07:44So for this one, it's how to download YouTube thumbnails because I struggled for so long trying
07:52to figure out how to download other people's YouTube thumbnails to either use them in my video
07:57or just for inspiration.
07:59So I made a video explaining exactly that because I knew if that's something that I was looking
08:06for, if somebody saw this thumbnail and said, hey, I've been looking to figure out exactly
08:11how to download other people's thumbnails, they would probably click on the video.
08:16It doesn't have to be this super elaborate thumbnail.
08:21You don't have to have crazy AI effects, but you want to give a clear expectation of what
08:27the person watching the video is going to get from watching your video.
08:32This is also probably where you're going to want to spend the majority of your time.
08:36And that's just coming up and creating good quality thumbnails that people want to click
08:40on.
08:41Because if people don't click on your video, the algorithm won't care to push your content
08:46to more people.
08:47Why would YouTube show your video to more people if people are already not clicking on
08:53your video?
08:54So you really want to make sure that you're spending a lot of time on your thumbnail, getting
08:57different ideas from people that are successful in your niche, seeing if there's any pattern
09:02or kind of recognition that you can follow and kind of implement that on your channel to
09:07make sure that you're having the best possible.
09:11And then now becomes the fun part.
09:13So you understand what keywords you're going to try to target.
09:17And if there's a volume or competition in your actual niche and you have your thumbnail made.
09:23Now we can actually use AI to kind of streamline the process and make this a little bit faster.
09:30So let me show you what that looks like.
09:31So in my previous example, we did how to grow on YouTube.
09:35So I'm simply going to ask ChatGPT, give me 10 viral YouTube video ideas around.
09:48And then I'm simply going to paste in how to grow on YouTube.
09:53Obviously, ChatGPT is going to think a little bit and then it's going to come up with 10 viral potential titles
10:01for your YouTube video that are all around the keyword that you looked up before that you validated with your Chrome extension tools.
10:09Then another little hack that you can do is simply ask ChatGPT, make them sound more clickable.
10:18And then ChatGPT is going to do a better job making those viral clickable YouTube titles that you can use for your video.
10:28And it's kind of going to do its thing.
10:31Now, obviously, you still want to take these and optimize them a little bit more based on your keywords.
10:35But this will give you a very good starting spot, especially if you're somebody that's having problems coming up with title ideas
10:41and you really don't know what you want to make content about.
10:44And now, I only did this in ChatGPT and I know there's a ton of other AIs that you could have used.
10:48We could have used Deep Seek or Clod or Gronk or Gemini.
10:53And they all would have given you very good results, but all would have been slightly different.
10:57So you really just want to use whatever AI that you are most comfortable with or maybe it's the one that you use the most.
11:02Or you can do this across all of the AIs that you want to and kind of test which one you like the most.
11:11Maybe ChatGPT is a little bit more wordy and technical when it comes to its titles.
11:16Maybe you find Gemini is a little bit more search-based dominant because it's ran by Google.
11:20So you just kind of have to try different AIs and see which one you like because they're all going to be very similar
11:25and it's really just personal preference, to be honest with you.
11:27So just kind of recap what exactly you're going to do when it comes to using these tools to really streamline your video creation process.
11:37You're going to start with vidIQ, coming up with keywords that you want to actually target for your video depending on your niche.
11:44You're going to want to use TubeBuddy to then validate those keywords on YouTube itself by looking in the right-hand side to see if there's a lot of competition
11:54or maybe there's just a lot of search for those keywords.
11:58You're then going to take those keywords, plug them into your favorite AI software and have it generate some ideas for you when it comes to topics on your actual video.
12:08And then you're going to use Canva to, well, make a thumbnail tying all of those things together.
12:15And that, my friends, is how you're going to really optimize your content creating process.
12:21Help with AI to validate your ideas, to validate search volume, to make sure that you're making content and making videos for people that actually want to see your content.
12:32Yes, it's great and it's fun making videos.
12:34But if you're getting no views on those videos, it'll probably be more fun using these tools.
12:41Seeing your subscribers go up, your likes go up, your engagements going up, and YouTube promoting your video across this platform.
12:48So, if you did enjoy this video, make sure you hit subscribe button and notification bell to get notified every time I post a video.
12:54And leave a comment in the comment section down below.
12:56Do you know about these AI tools or are you already using these AI tools?
13:00Because I think they're pretty cool and I think you should definitely use them in your normal workflow.
13:06And just like that, I will see you in the next one.
13:07Peace.
