00:00Sunderland head coach Regis Labrice has said that he hopes to maintain connections with the members of his squad who are departing to represent their nations over the coming international break.
00:11He was also complimentary of his players and how they reacted to going two goals down against Manchester United at Old Trafford at the weekend and maintained that his squad have enough depth to be successful this season in the Premier League.
00:27To stay connected with the players.
00:30Because they will play with their national teams, I think they are proud and they like playing with their national teams and we'll have six, seven, eight players available, we'll work hard with them and then we'll try to keep the connection and to get ready for the next challenge.
00:45We have depth which is important for us and I'll try to find the best starting eleven, the best finishers to win the next game.
00:54Even if we struggled today, we reacted. For a young squad like ours, after 2-0, many teams can just stop and wait for the last minute with four, five, six, seven goals if it was possible.
01:13And Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has made clear that there is more to come from his side in terms of their physical fitness.
01:21He said they looked fatigued in the first half against Forest but sparked into life in the second to win the match.
01:27I thought it was a good performance today. I think tough opponents, defended very deep, a lot of men behind the ball, we had to be patient.
01:34I thought we played some really good football in both halves. I thought the second half we played a lot quicker and a lot more dynamic and we asked more questions of them and eventually we got rewarded for that.
01:43But I thought we controlled the game in both halves. There's more to come. I like the balance of the team today and I like the balance of the team on Wednesday.
01:52That's why I decided to stick with the team again and I thought there's a little bit of fatigue in our performance.
01:57I don't think we look physically as good as we can but I think that's understandable.
02:04There's a mental load, there's a physical load that we gave in midweek, there's a travelling, there's all sorts of things but the group are always so professional and so hungry to win.
