00:00After wrapping up his 31-show residency in his hometown of Puerto Rico,
00:05Bad Bunny is now being credited with a massive boost to the island's economy.
00:12Earlier estimates put the impact at $200 million, but Wells Fargo tells CNBC the real number is
00:20closer to $400 million. The residency ran during Puerto Rico's off-season months,
00:25with Bad Bunny urging fans to come to him ahead of his world tour, one that stops in 19 countries
00:32excluding the U.S. When asked by ID Magazine if he was skipping the U.S. because of mass deportations
00:39of Latinos, he said yes. He explained, there were many reasons why I didn't show up in the U.S.
00:45and none of them were out of hate. The singer added that he's performed in the U.S. multiple times
00:50and encouraged fans to travel to places he doesn't visit often. And some fans are doing just that.
00:57According to Axios, the most travelers are coming from New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Orlando.
