00:00President Trump is adding more tariffs to the list, this time taking aim at wood, furniture, even movies.
00:08On Monday, President Trump signed a proclamation saying the U.S. will start charging a 10% tariff on foreign software lumber and timber,
00:17which are used in a wide variety of building materials.
00:20He also announced a 25% tariff on kitchen cabinets, vanities, and upholstered wooden furniture.
00:26Those tariffs take effect October 14th and go even higher in the new year, 50% on cabinets and 30% on furniture starting January 1st.
00:35Industry analysts warn the moves could push up lumber costs and, as a result, housing prices.
00:40And that's not all. In a Truth Social post, Trump said he will also impose a 100% tariff on any movie made outside the United States,
00:49claiming the movie-making business has been stolen from the U.S.
