00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, American doctors and nurses are flocking to Canada in droves.
00:05And YouTube says some banned COVID-era accounts could be coming back.
00:12I'm Craig DiGrelli. Here on Media Miss Minute, we break down two stories largely ignored by partisan media outlets.
00:20First, a story mostly ignored by the right.
00:23British Columbia's health minister says more than 130 American health care professionals have formally accepted jobs in the province.
00:31Out of more than 1,400 applicants, at least 80 nurses and 38 doctors have already been hired.
00:37Health minister Josie Osborne says they expect even more to come, pointing to the, quote,
00:42erosion of rights, disregard of science and lack of universal health care in the U.S. as reasons American workers are looking abroad.
00:51Now to a story largely underreported on the left.
00:54YouTube's parent company, Alphabet, says it will allow accounts banned during the COVID-19 pandemic to apply for reinstatement.
01:03Many were removed at the request of the Biden administration for pushing misleading claims about vaccines, the virus or unproven treatments.
01:11Alphabet says those users can now seek reinstatement if their accounts were removed for violating policies that are no longer in effect.
