00:00Ice is gonna come, bust down your door, trying to build a house, no one builds no more.
00:06Some fans of country music singer Zach Bryan are calling it quits on the artist
00:10after he posted a snippet of a song on his Instagram criticizing ice raids.
00:18Bryan's snippet comes as ice raids continue to pick up across the country
00:22with all eyes on cities like Chicago and Portland where protests and confrontations have escalated.
00:28Toward the end of the snippet, Bryan also alludes to the fading of the red, white, and blue.
00:35Comments have since been turned off on the post, but that didn't stop fans from sounding off under
00:40some of his other posts where comments were still open. One user wrote,
00:45just another liberal tool like Bruce Springsteen. And another said, why in the world would you alienate
00:51over half of the country and attack a country and veterans that gave you all the entitlement
00:56and freedom you have? We can help you pack and move to Canada. The 29-year-old singer is a Navy
01:02veteran and even recorded his first two albums while still serving. While many fans say they're
01:09done listening, others are thanking Bryan for using his platform to speak up. Zach Bryan joins a small
01:15but growing list of country artists using their music or platforms to speak out on political issues
01:21despite backlash. Others include Maren Morris and Taylor Swift, who did begin her career in country.
01:28But Bryan's controversial snippet dropped just days after he broke a record previously held by George
01:34Strait for the largest ticketed concert in history. I'm Kennedy Felton for Strait Arrow News.
