00:00The Yankees will be making a huge mistake trading Spencer Jones in any type of deal at this year's
00:07trade deadline. The 24-year-old outfielder has been completely mashing AAA pitching in 16 games
00:13this season. My man's hitting .426 with a .481 on base percentage and that goes along with a 1.422
00:20OPS. So instead of trading Jones, New York needs to find a way to be getting him some at-bats in
00:26the Bronx. The 6'7 lefty would bring power to a Yankees lineup looking for a boost heading into
00:31the second half of the season. Check this out. My man's combined for 26 home runs in the minors.
00:3610 of those coming at the AAA level and only 68 at-bats. A big knock on the former first-round
00:42pick going into the season was that he struck out too much. Well, so far this season, he's cut the
00:48number of strikeouts down and he's increased his walk rate. New York cannot trade a player with
00:54this much potential for a rental. Any team looking to include Jones in a trade should be met with an
01:00immediate no. Hang up the phone. But we're going to see what Brian Cashman cooks up at this year's
01:05trade deadline as the Yankees look for their 28th ring. But Spencer Jones, oh, he should be off the menu.
