00:00Hey, there's a lot of good news coming out of Jets camp, so I gotta show some love and highlights and guys who are making some big plays.
00:07Here goes five players who have impressed the post early in training camp.
00:11Number one, running back Braylon Allen.
00:13New offense coordinator Tanner Inkstern has already identified how to unlock B.A.'s hybrid talent, 6'1", 240,
00:21but he's had some runs where he's broken free in the open field for what we count as long touchdowns.
00:26But even better, he's putting his hands on full display.
00:30He's got some catches out of the backfield that's turned into chunk plays.
00:34Now, Brees Hall's gonna more than likely be the lead back and get the majority of the touches,
00:39but Allen should be more of a RB1A this year than just a RB2.
00:44Safety Andre Siscoe has looked like an instant impact signing.
00:49He's made multiple plays on the ball, picked off a Tyrod Taylor pass, and he's had some PBUs and some sticky coverage.
00:55Aaron Glenn got a lot of production out of his two safeties, Kirby Joseph and Brian Branch in Detroit,
01:02so expect Siscoe to be a good scheme fit and play above what they paid him this offseason.
01:08D.N. Will McDonald.
01:10Our Jets beat writer for the post, Brian Costello, says no one is having a better camp than a third-year edge rusher from Iowa State,
01:17and he looks like a player on the verge of doing some very big things.
01:22Once Jermaine Johnson returns, the Jets should have a strong pass rush with Johnson and McDonald on the edges
01:29and then Quinnen Williams in the inside.
01:32Wide receiver Josh Reynolds.
01:34Look, I challenged the Jets receivers not named Garrett Wilson to take that wide receiver two job,
01:40and that's exactly what my man is doing so far, and it ain't even been close.
01:44He's made play after play, and it looks like the chemistry of Justin Fields is there.
01:49He can officially lock up that wide receiver two spot by making those same plays in the preseason games.
01:56Last but not least, cornerback Brandon Stephens.
01:59My man stacking some good days together, that's for sure.
02:02He's been matched up with Garrett Wilson a lot, and he's pretty much held his own,
02:06but what stood out the most to us is how he's been making plays in the backfield.
02:11Aaron Glenn loves himself a physical corner.
02:13Look, we're only a week and a half into camp, but we're going to show love and get some credit where credit is due.
02:19All eyes are going to be on these dudes once the preseason kicks off,
02:23and their first game is Saturday, August 9th, against the Packers.
