22:51I was in five homes before I was four.

22:58but they were actually instructed not to educate me about my culture.
23:03And so I grew up not having any real connection.
23:08Within the last two years, I've been connected with my birth family, and I went to the powwow
23:12and feel my feet on my land.
23:16It was the most impactful thing I had ever experienced in my life.
23:19I am on this journey now.
23:21Yeah.
23:22And I'm not stopping.
23:24You know, it's taken me a long time and a lot of real challenge to my life,
23:27but I'm here, and I'm alive.

23:30So when I did my entrance and I came in wearing red,
23:33you know, I was part of that community that could have been taken and could have been not here.
23:38So I think that it's important for me now,
23:41as I learn my culture and as I learn about the history of my family,
23:45because I walk this earth with their blood in my veins.

23:48So now, with time and place, I'm going to share the strength and the beauty of who I have been able to create,
23:54because I am not alone.
