Sumter ran a 99 Beyer Speed Figure to win the Lure Stakes Saturday at Santa Anita, the fastest race that any horse ran this week. The fastest horse of the week is presented by WinStar Farm, who announced a new addition to their stallion roster this week in the form of Mullikin, who heads next to the Breeders' Cup Sprint.

00:24That's a 25% share in not only anything Mullican might make in the Breeders' Cup Sprint,

00:37and he's earned over $1.1 million so far before the Breeders' Cup, of course.

00:53who sped to a four-length victory at Santa Anita on Saturday in the Lure Stakes.
