00:08Allora abbiamo fatto tanti provini in lei, eravamo tantissimi ragazzini
01:03And for me, you know, I worked with the first assistant director before on another film
01:11who recommended me to Salvatore
01:14and I was in Los Angeles, in California
01:17so we spoke to each other via the internet
01:19and I read the script
01:21and we enjoyed each other
01:23and I said, yeah
01:25I watched one of his other films, The No Hai Paura
01:27and I was like, oh man, this guy is brilliant
01:30and so
01:32I was excited
01:33because I spent the summer in Europe
01:36and making this film
01:38getting to know new people
01:39especially now to see how it turned out
01:41great experience
02:13and I play George
02:15I think that for similarities that I have with George
02:19are we're both always looking for the best in people
02:23and George is looking for the best in Grafalo
02:28in the kids
02:29he's trying to find the best
02:31even with the world
02:32smacking him around
02:34when he first gets introduced
02:36he comes off like he could be a bad guy
02:38I wanted to always show that he's an optimist
02:41of sorts
02:42and so when he can help
02:44he does help
02:45so when they do get found on the ship
02:48he finds the bunk
02:49you know, so he has the bed next to him
02:51he helps them work in the kitchen
02:53he gives them the money that he owes them
02:55you know, he's supportive
03:26Sì, anch'io
03:28la memoria come ha detto Antonio
03:30però anche un'altra cosa
03:32sempre noi due
03:34ma penso tutti
03:36che ci porteremo nel cuore
03:38è il significato della speranza
03:40che è l'ultima morire
03:41che è quello che vuole insegnare il film
03:44I'd say the thing that I take away from this film
03:47is how much all of the cultures have in common
03:51and it's more than what divides all of us
03:54and with that
03:56I look at somebody like Salvatore
03:58you would never know looking at him
04:00how cool he is
04:01this is a cool dude
04:03you know
04:04and he's very cultured in the world
04:09in the world of music
04:10in the world of art
04:12in the world of politics
04:14so I found myself having conversations with him about everything
04:17and in that
04:19I see how it translates into his work
04:21because his films are universal
04:24they play to everybody
04:26so it's such a value add to be dynamic
04:31you know to be well rounded
04:32thank you
