00:00in all of your movies the color palette is always something specific this one we have again the
00:10purple especially for your camille and the yellow can you tell me more about it well we try to um
00:18you know use color here as uh you know kind of um pops against this very kind of um pastel world
00:27that we were in you know the color the color usage is something that um the production design the
00:33costumer the art department everyone speaks about very very carefully how to convey um the storytelling
00:40that life was you know uh bright and colorful and then it gets muted and and and and we mute the
00:47umbrellas at the end and so they're they're washed away almost disappearing into the sand and all
00:52so we we try to tell a story emotionally with every color choice uh that we make and as an actress
00:59your role is this movie is so difficult you have to act like an 11 year old girl who is panicking for
01:06everything and doesn't know doesn't understand very well what happening in one scene she said
01:12i need to be strong for everyone why do you think she said that i think and i'm not allowed to give
01:20away too much about maddox but i think she's a real empath she really feels for other people um and
01:27she you know she was just a very aware of what the other characters were going through on that beach
01:33and she took a lot of responsibility for whether they were handling things or not and as an actor your
01:41role is so difficult you have to act like a on a six-year-old boy whom is panicking and doesn't
01:47understand what's going on and in one of the scene he said something to his little friend
01:53we can be mortgage friends when we will be adults and it's funny but it's also a bit sad what do you
02:00think about it i love that line i think that nolan's delivery of that nolan river that little genius
02:06his delivery of that is one of the funniest things i've ever seen in a movie um and yeah it's sad i think
02:13i think it's more representation of of uh where their family's at you know and how he's had to
02:18grow up quickly and also i think the struggle is um he realized that his parents it's actually people
02:25who make mistakes so that's the problem when he realized oh my gosh so my parents are actually like
02:33me so i'm an adult now totally i think that that's exactly what that moment's about
