00:54On Wednesday, during the 598th session of the Russian Federation Council, Senators ratified the treaty between Russia and the Venezuelan strategic partnership.
01:15The agreement was presented by the first vice chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Sergey Kislyak, confirming what President Obama reported and Nicolás Maduro established during their meeting in Moscow in May.
01:27According to the Senate's decision, Venezuela is a consistent ally and like-minded partner that, like Russia, seeks to establish a more just world order.
01:36The principles of this treaty established, among other aspects, the coordination of the bilateral agenda, the development of the resilience of national economies, the creation of an independent Russian-Venezuela financial structure, and the consolidation of relations in strategic areas.
01:55Russia once again reaffirmed its support for Venezuela in the face of growing U.S. hostility.
02:00Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Venezuelan Ambassador Rafael Salazar Velasquez in Moscow to assess the bilateral strategic partnership and existing agreements between the two countries.
02:12During the meeting, the Foreign Minister resented the Venezuelan diplomat with the order of friendship and reiterated Russia's commitment to peace in Latin America and the Caribbean.
02:22On the same day, the lower house of the Russian parliament ratified the treaty of strategic partnership and cooperation between the two nations.
02:35Also in Venezuela, Vice President and Oil Minister Delce Rodriguez announced a scientific and technological plan to boost the national hydrocarbon sector, showcasing the capacity of Intepet in innovation and production.
02:48The initiative presented to President Nicolás Maduro highlights locally developed technology aimed at overcoming U.S. sanctions and reinforcing energy independence.
02:57Rodriguez emphasized the effort of Venezuelan scientists and workers as a symbol of national resilience and self-sufficiency in petroleum production and refining.
03:05Venezuela is advancing in its oil sovereignty, overcoming the effects of the criminal blockade and external threats, and will continue to strengthen this sector of the Bulgarian economic agenda.
03:15On the International Day of Support for the Bolivar Revolution, the communes brought together social and political movements from 29 countries in Caracas to express solidarity with Venezuela and support the people's power organizing communes.

08:14During the meeting, President Petro condemned the U.S. actions in the region and their campaign to discredit the national fight against drugs.
08:21The President also declared that Colombia would not support U.S. intervention in the Caribbean, nor would it lend itself to the murder of young Venezuelans.

08:59In a statement, CONAI alleged that government forces used excessive violence including tear gas and rubber bullets against civilians in indigenous communities, resulting in dozens of injuries and arbitrary detentions.
