Bradford Bulls, York Knights and Toulouse Olympique have all been promoted to Super League for 2026 but do the Bulls have the best chances next year?  Will Jackson, Pete Smith, Sam Cook and Sam Brocksom debate it on this week's Serious About Rugby League Show.

00:00they did credit credit to them and it's not been a popular decision has it really i think it um

00:13i think it it highlights an issue with the um with the grading system the fact that bradford

00:21still playing at oddsall have got into uh into super league and they weren't that far off an a

00:26grade actually um that's not uh a criticism criticism of anything bradford have done

00:34to get their light casts last year they um they ticked the boxes they needed to to tick and um

00:42and it worked for them the but the system has to change oddsall's not fit to um to sage super league

00:50i know bradford is saying it's not as bad as it looks and they're going to tidy it up

00:54but um it's not super league the super league venue really well it is but it shouldn't be

01:00um if they were moving to say valley parade i think it would be a it would be a different

01:06matter i think everyone would say yeah welcome back um tough tough for them as a as a newly promoted

01:16club but they are getting as a as a top 12 team they are getting the full funding which um is being

01:23being denied to the other two the two that were came up through the application process york and

01:28toulouse will only get roughly half of the funding that bradford gets so that'll give bradford an

01:34advantage they've already made a start with the recruitment and the akka's coming in from leeds

01:39roan mills has uh has rejoined them having played for uh whole kr and cass um and they'll have a fighting

01:48chance of staying up i think whether whether they can be competitive on the field remains to be seen

01:54doesn't it but the the big problem they've got is is obviously oddsall um i've seen a lot of away fans

02:02saying that they won't travel there um which is whether that'll actually happen or not i don't know

02:07but it's um it as i say i just i just don't see it as a as a super league venue um it's good for cast

02:16though because they no longer have the worst ground in in super league
