Hull FC might be depleted but they're still in with a shout of claiming a Super League play-off spot. Here, Will Jackson, Peter Smith and Sam Cook discuss their upcoming clash with Warrington Wolves and their mentality as they push for a plce in the top six.

00:00I think Warrington, it's three games now, the Huddersfield, Salford and Leeds like that.
00:11It's three games where they've just performed so far under what they can do.
00:18I think each week you've expected a response, so it's daft to say,
00:24oh, well, this week they'll get the response because they've proven they haven't done it.
00:27But it just simply has to improve.
00:30You can't, these are good, good players.
00:33It's not a poor team.
00:36So I think, and obviously you say how many Hull FC are missing.
00:40I know their home form has improved somewhat, but it's still not great.
00:44And I think with Hull FC, knowing how much is on the line,
00:46there's probably going to be a lot of nervous energy there.
00:49And Warrington can take advantage of that maybe.
00:51I'm not confident that they'll go and win,
00:54but I think they can, their job is to go disrupt the party.
00:57And I think they can certainly do that.
00:59I mean, I watched them on Saturday and Luke Gates was the standing captain.
01:04I thought he was unbelievable.
01:05He was one of the few ones that could take some pride in performance.
01:09And I think if you just basically look at how he played,
01:15if everyone can strive to be just like Luke Gates,
01:17then they win this game easily.
01:19He was so good in terms of how he got himself about,
01:22but he was put on report.
01:23So if he ends up missing, then I think they could collapse.
01:29Yeah.
01:29What you say about Hull FC and nervous energy,
01:31I don't know if I totally agree.
01:33I sort of think they've got nothing to lose in terms of where they're at
01:37and the expectations from, you know, from the start of this season,
01:41no one expected them to be in this position that they're in.
01:45And if, you know, it's a free shot almost to go and get a playoff spot.
01:50I agree with that 100%.
01:52I don't think it'll make or break Hull season if they miss out on the playoff.
01:58So no one expected them to get there anyway.
02:01A bit like Wakefield as well, to be honest, for the sixth spot.
02:05I think Hull have had a decent season,
02:08whatever the result of the last couple of games.
02:11And I think it's an opportunity for them rather than anything to be nervous about.
02:16Just go out and show what you can do.
02:18And if they don't make it, well, so what?
02:22They've got a pre-season to build on for next year and some players coming in.
02:27I think it's, I'd say I think it's an opportunity for them.
02:30But as Sam says, Warrington can't be as bad as this forever.
02:34And they've got quite a few players leaving.
02:36So they might want to send them out on a high in the last couple of games.
02:40So it is a tough one.
