00:00Okay Scott and Tom. Scott you're the owner here at Exotic Zoo in Telford and Tom you're the new
00:06paleontologist here. Just explain what your position entails, Tom, what your job's all about.
00:13Yeah so this is a new position for the zoo and the museum so it's been really exciting developing how we perform here.
00:19So it'll entail do things like potentially looking at the exhibits we've got, revamping them a little bit,
00:26local workers are going to be looking through all the collection, making sure that's all
00:30in the tree correctly, that kind of thing. We're going to be working towards some exciting projects
00:35like museum accreditation in the future and we're also currently building a new research lab.
00:42Oh fantastic. So when will that be open? Is that open to the public, the research?
00:47Yeah. So that'll be potentially the second publicly accessible paleontology preparation lab in Europe.
00:56Wow that sounds fantastic. So Scott as I say you're the owner here at the zoo. How's it feel to have
01:02Tom here and what do you think his position will bring to the zoo? What benefits will it bring?
01:07It's an amazing addition to the zoo. We've been working really hard on the museum side and it's
01:11worked so well with our visitors getting to see around the zoo animals that are alive today but
01:15through the museum understanding how animals evolved over time and how we learn from that. So having Tom here
01:21to grow that project we're hoping to maybe be rebuilding the museum bar on a much grander scale,
01:27have a prep lab which you know as Tom was saying is going to be really unique and accessible to members
01:31of the public as well. So I think it's a really important part of the zoo that we feel is going to be
01:36a big part of our future. Absolutely. And if people do want to come to the zoo what's the website?
01:42Well we're open seven days a week and we've got loads of exciting stuff going on. There will be
01:47opportunities to meet Tom and see what he's doing over the coming months and get on our social media
