00:43Hi, I'm Rob. I play in, I'm going to guess it's your favorite band, Bowling for Soup.
00:48And you're in our tour bus. We're on the road with Simple Plan 303 and Lolo for the Bigger Than You Think Tour.
00:56Which is rad. Celebrating 25 years of Simple Plan. Our dear friends.
01:01And everything's great. And this is where we live for a month.
01:04You'll notice here, this is where I spend most of my time. No, I don't. I'm not licensed to do any of this.
01:09But that's our driver Richard's sweet-ass honeycomb patterned ergonomic pad and his mango.
01:16He doesn't go anywhere without it except for right now because he left it behind.
01:20Which is how it is. This is his jerseys. He likes the Dallas Cowboys a lot.
01:25So he keeps those around. This looks like what 303 has been wearing on stage.
01:30But this actually belongs to Richard. So don't get confused when you see them.
01:33You can't tell the difference really when they're performing.
01:37So this is, the tour bus is beyond this. This isn't where 15 people pile up.
01:43So let's show you in here.
01:46Whoa.
01:48It's so much wider than it looks on the outside, right?
01:53That's because it slides out. And that thing comes in here.
01:56And a lot of drivers don't let you sit in there when they move it.
01:58But he doesn't give a shit and he lets us in there.
02:00I don't know if I'm allowed to say that, but keep it.
02:02There's two TVs. And they both play the same thing.
02:07Generally speaking, we watch Ancient Aliens, King of the Hill, and Game Show Network.
02:12And we do watch TV.
02:14And then people are here doing photo editing and stuff like that.
02:17But I just am in the way most of the time.
02:20If you were here about ten minutes ago, you would have seen a pile of leftover bags from White Castle from last night.
02:27Because we love that. But now we want to look like we're healthy.
02:30So we staged these bananas, oranges, and apples.
02:35Here's our fridge.
02:38Oh, there's some leftover White Castle.
02:40We just stashed it in there.
02:41But this is supposed to make us look better.
02:43The coconut water and cream cheese and the condiments.
02:47I've been saving this.
02:49Because I saw this and it looked delicious.
02:51And I didn't want anyone to take it.
02:52And there was only one left. So that's mine.
02:54So there's a bunch of stuff here that's like, we don't really eat this much cheese.
02:57I don't think anybody does.
02:58Maybe Charlie Kelly, but that's about it.
03:00And it's just stuff that's from a writer that gets left in the green room.
03:04That like, or everybody just goes, let's just hang on to it.
03:07You never know if you want to make the biggest sandwich you've ever had in your life.
03:09So it's all that stuff's there.
03:11And then here's this fun stuff.

03:17And there's a lot of cheese right there.
03:19Ice Vodka, which I think is gross.

03:26I really have no clue what that is or why it's frozen.

05:09But it's too early for them.

05:21I get kind of mixed up.

05:23And I get mixed up on who's where.

05:25It doesn't matter.
05:26This is where I sleep.
05:27I'm charging an iPad.
05:28We have these cool chargers that charge a bunch of things at once.
05:44I don't know if you've seen these.

05:48And I keep...
05:49I always make sure to keep like a electrolyte water there.
05:52Because in the middle of night when you're thirsty it's just good.
05:54Stay hydrated.
05:58Normally we have a couple little junk bunks.
06:00I think we do have some.
06:01But we also have some guests riding with us beyond our crew.
06:04So I think they're all taken out.
06:05Which is fine.
06:06Because there's plenty of space for our stuff.
06:07When there's a junk bunk it's just where people stuff their bags.
06:10But I found that closet.
06:11So I don't need to worry about that.
06:12I chose a middle bunk.
06:14This is always my bunk.
06:15I like it.
06:16It's right where I want it to be.
06:17I can kind of roll in and out.
06:19And not worry about it.
06:20Getting on the ground hurts my back.
06:21And climbing up there also hurts my back.
06:23And climbing in the middle does hurt my back just less.
06:26Uh, so that's why I like the middle.
06:28Uh, Gary is always up here.
06:30That's his spot.
06:31He just has like a system that he's been doing forever.
06:34And that's what he does.
06:35Um...
06:36Uh, Jarrett's right in front of me.

06:39This is always Jarrett.
06:40So we like these.
06:41That's bunk selection.
06:42So most buses don't have this.
06:44Little like, shoe storage thing.
06:46Usually the hallway is just littered with shoes.

06:49But usually they're fully out.
06:51This has this nice little thing where you can kind of...
06:53It's lit up.
06:54You can kick your shoes into.
06:55And, uh, I go around when no one notices and spray everybody's shoes with shoe puree.
07:00Because it's just a common courtesy.
07:02We never fight over the air temperature because we all like it to be as frigid cold as absolutely possible.
07:07So we all set...
07:08It's set to 68 always.
07:09And, uh, as my friend Anthony Mangoya says, that's the perfect cuddling temperature.
07:1468 degrees.
07:15It's great sleeping temperature.
07:16And these...
07:17It really does work.
07:18This bus is very great.
07:23It's kind of a mess.
07:24I really feel like we should have tidied up.

07:26Whatever.

07:28Just really don't use this much.

07:30It's like really just stores bags.
07:32And, uh, very rarely do we not hang out with each other.
07:35We almost always just hang out up there.
07:37You go riding and stuff where people are sleeping.
07:39So this doesn't really get put to use other than like throwing bags and junk.

07:55These wonderful sets of clothing.

07:58And this is mine.
07:59Because on this tour, we've been rotating on who's directly supporting Simple Plan.
08:04So, uh, on the nights where we are second of the four bands.
08:09Which means we have a lot of time.
08:11So we play earlier.
08:12So Gary and I get all snatched up.
08:14Go on open table.
08:15And make a reservation for a steak dinner.
08:17And we go and have a lovely evening together.
08:19Then we come back and watch the show.
08:21But then the nights that we're direct support, we can't do that.
08:23So like tonight, we can't really use it.
08:25But we...
08:26Make sure to look nice when we go out.
