00:00Also in Cuba, the third international meeting of left-wing parties and movements on theoretical publications concluded.
00:05The meeting, dedicated to Commander-in-Chief Vidal Castro Cruz in commemorations of his centenary in 2026,
00:11was attended by more than 120 theorists, communicators, journalists, and other experts.
00:17Political communication was at the center of the debate.
00:20The conference reiterated the need to create platforms as a political tool
00:23with the aim of ideological unity and to give visibility to revolutionary struggles.
00:28During her speech, the sub-multa platform President Padre Isabellegas
00:32condemned the United States' attempts to undermine peace in Venezuela through misinformation.
00:47The Bolivarian people have stood up to the White House,
00:51which falsely insists that the South American nation is an unusual and extraordinary threat to the security of the United States
00:58and that the legitimate leader, Nicol S. Maduro, heads a narco-state.
01:03From the centers of imperialist power, they try to impose lies and misinformation on us.
01:09The machinery of the information corporation seeks to make false news and manipulations believable,
01:15becoming accomplices to falsehoods.
01:17They do not verify sources and censor our truths.
01:21We condemn attempts to undermine peace and impose the diplomacy of imperialist gunboats.
01:26We reaffirm that the unity of political forces and left-wing movements
01:30is an effective shield against attempts at destabilization.
01:34Only together can we confront the attempts of hegemonic imperialism
01:38that does not accept our sovereignty, self-determination, and decision to remain free.
01:43Trasur President Patricia Villegas also condemned the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial
01:54blockade against Cuba.
01:56We reiterate our condemnation of the Zionist genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories,
02:05especially in the Gaza Strip, where around 70,000 people have lost their lives,
02:10victims of Israeli neglect and gunfire.
02:13We strongly condemn the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed on Cuba for more than 60 years,
02:20which has intensified unprecedentedly since 2019, with the aim of economically suffocating the Cuban people.
02:27We demand the immediate removal of Cuba from the spurious list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism.
02:33We call on all governments of the world to vote in favor of the resolution entitled
02:40The Necessity of Ending the Economic, Commercial, and Financial Blockade, imposed by the United States against Cuba,
02:47to be presented on October 28, and 29, at the United Nations General Assembly.
02:53We firmly reject the fourth-generation warfare waged against the revolutionary processes of Cuba, Venezuela,
03:00and Nicaragua, countries that have been arbitrarily excluded from the upcoming summit of the Americas
03:06to be held in the Dominican Republic.
